This is a crafty mom's dream toy lol. I think I enjoyed it more than my daughter, though she does have a ton of fun playing with the stuffed toy. There are 5 crafts you can make with everything included and it really helps to keep everything in order so nothing gets tangled. If you have a crafty kiddo this is a must have!

My daughter loves crafts and saw this and immediately had to have it. When we received it, we were BOTH so excited to unravel the yarn and see the surprise animal inside. This toy is a must for any kid who loves to craft. Not only do you get an adorable stuffed animal but you use the yarn it comes inside to make all kinds of little things ( a bed, bracelets, keychains). We just had so much fun doing it together as my daughter is only 8 so she needed some help with some of it, but the whole thing is such a great idea in my opinion. We also thought when we ordered it that there were only a few different animals that you could get from the images on the box but there's actually a whole bunch you could get that weren't pictures so, we can't wait to order more!

Such a cute toy and a genuinely fun afternoon activity for both my five year old and me! She loved the surprise aspect of unwinding the yarn and finding new yarn, strings, and charms, with the pet as the final best surprise. I like that this toy teaches a basic sewing concept as well as practice tying knots and braiding. After we’d sewn and stuffed the bed, then made the collar, three bracelets, and two pom poms, she decided to make a leash for her Puppadoo out of some of the extra medium-thick yarn. I can see us buying more Ravel Tales and giving them as gifts. Highly recommended!

My daughter loved doing all the activities that came along with the suprise. I loved it because not only is it a stuffed animal but it also encourages creativity and crafting. My daughter needed just a little bit of help with the braiding but loved the no sew projects. A great introduction to beginners sewing for kids!

I think this is a cute concept, having to make the accessories yourself for your new plush. However, I ordered 2 and both of the plushes were so flat and disfigured from being wrapped up, they looked like wrinkled gremlins of some sort. There just wasn't enough stuffing in their heads to even reshape them nicely. I would suggest to the company in future productions to make the heads come unstuffed, so that the child can stuff them to full capacity once removed from the box. I will have to cut the seam on the back of the head and stuff them a little more myself.

So cute along with fun activities! I love being able to enjoy toys with my kids and this is definitely one of them to add. No wasteful plastic and you get to make bracelets, a pillow, pompoms and collar for your little plush. I will say that out of the two I purchased for my daughters the pony had much more stuffing in the head which was nice. Fluffing out the pink puppy made the head look better but definitely had less stuffing than the pony. I still love them. So fun!

Even tho we did not open the Ravel Tales DIY Collectible Plush Toy, from the quick video we saw, this looks like a lot of fun for kids. It has some fun crafts to do along with a cute plush toy. Younger kids may need adult help, but it is a great way to introduce sewing & crafting.

Toy came in light weight packaging so toy box was damaged which was disappointing as it was a gift. However the actual Ravel Tail toy was fun. Plenty of yarn and very easy for 7 year old to learn to sew and the cat was adorable. Child loved the toy and provided hours of fun. Does need adult supervision to follow directions

Viene con instructivo en inglés en donde te explican cómo crear cada manualidad. Está increíble y es de buen material. El objeto llegó a tiempo y bien empacado.

I am 28 years old, I ordered two for myself, and I love them. I am a knitter so I thought it would be a fun way to get some extra yarn needles for on the go, and maybe I could use the yarn scraps here and there in some projects. I unwrapped both toys today and I got a cute orange bear and a blue dog plush - I was happy to see very different yarns included with each. I got a nice pink-yellow twist, and a bright tricolour variegated yarn underneath the bright rainbow exterior wrap. Love that you can "use" so much of this too.

I have now bought three of these. They are so fun. It looks like a ball of yarn and as you in wrap every type of yarn is labeled with what you use it for and in the middle is an animal that you can make a bed for and pompoms. It is very fun for the kids to do. Both my 4 year old and my 8 year old.
