Goldi Rocks & the Three Bears

Loved this book! (I haven't listened to the CD yet, but I'm sure it's fine--and funny.) This is a delightful version about Goldi and the bears being musicians/singers. The story is written in rhyme, and it totally works. I was laughing out loud a few times. Absolutely love this!

As a writing teacher, and a mother, this book delivers on both accounts. I have used this book to teach "fractured fairy tale" writing lessons to children ages 8 - 13, and have read this book to my 5 year old. All of the children LOVED it. It is so clever in concept and rhyme. The idea is great and the part about Goldi being startled into a perfect "high C" scream--is brilliant! If you have read any of Corey Rosen Schwartz's books, you know she has a gift for rhyme. Clever, fun, and entertaining. A great gift book and a perfect fit for a school library.

I bought this to use in my preschool classroom. My students loved hearing it! They requested and we read it more than once a day throughout one of our units. It is a fresh take, well written and illustrated and a fun read!

A different version of Goldie locks and the three bears. This one focuses on music instruments instead of the usual chairs, dinner, and beds. Reads with a flowing rhythm and rhyme that's keeps my squirmy toddler entertained.

I expected so much since all the other stories by this author have been great. This one left much to be desired.

Fantastic! Entertaining (for kids and adults). Good length (doesn't make you want to gouge your eyes out). I have several books by these guys. They're some of the few books for small kids that don't make me want to shoot myself.Highly recommend.
