Meindl Men's Vakuum Men GTX 680083 Sport Shoes

The boot is very well constructed and the high quality is obvious. I use the Meindl Conditioner & Proofer on the buckskin and have had no problems splashing in sea water. Even with the occasional wave coming over the top of the boot they remain dry (using Smartwool socks).The problem is the memory foam lining. It is my first and last pair of memory foam lined boots. What is the point of a foam lining that is hard when you put the boot on then after 3 minutes of walking and heating up has softened up and completely disappeared? I know to then stop and retie the laces! The memory foam results in a boot which feels loose because it allows too much foot movement. I can understand memory foam on a bed mattress but in a boot pounding the ground for 6 hours? Nope, nope, nope.

As advertised, I bought one size bigger than normal and this proved to be absolutely the right thing. An excellent pair of boots: well made and very comfortable from the first wear.

Excellent boots, they were a present for our son and he is thrilled with them. In use at the present time. Service was also excellent and packaging spot on.

Scarpone comodissimo col quale mi trovo molto bene..purtroppo dopo pochi utilizzi la banda di gomma sopra la suola ha iniziato a scollarsi in più punti ed in entrambe le scarpe..mai successo con altri scarponi ho contattato la casa madre vediamo cosa mi diranno

Nachdem mein erster Meindl nach zehn Jahren und zwei Werks-Überholungen wirklich endgültig hinüber war, bin ich "fremdgegangen". Obwohl gar nicht billig, konnte ich mit den Lowa nicht anfreunden, war froh, dass ich sie verschenken konnte.Dann habe ich einen billigen Meindl (ca. 100 €) gekauft, darüber breite ich leiber den Mantel des Schweigens - nur so viel: Ich hatte das Gefühl in zwei verschieden Größen zu stehen - Schuh verschenkt.Jetzt, nach einer Saison mit diesen Meindl kommt wieder Freude auf, weili ich für mich das absolut richtige Produkt gewählt habe.Der Schuh sitzt anfangs knapp, der Schaum bewirkt aber, dass innerhalb von 5 bis 10 Minuten keine Beengung mehr spürbar ist. Gleichzeitig habe ich auch im Sommer ein luftiges Gefühl und fühle mich bei jedem tritt auch auf Geröll sehr sicher.

Wer bisher mit Treckingboots von Lowa oder ähnlichem unterwegs war, war sicherlich gut gerüstet. Aber Meindl Vakuum spielt noch einmal in einer anderen Liga. Dieses Stiefel mit Treckingboots zu vergleichen heißt, Äpfel mit Birnen zu vergleichen. Am prägnantesten zeigt sich das an der Sohle den Meindl Vakuum. Diese ist extrem fest man hat einen extrem guten halt.

These boots are awesome! Fitting is good! Seems a little narrow, might just need to be worn in more! Had a pair I used for sheep hunting for the last 10 years and the worked very well, perfect for side hilling, felt really solid, they never fell apart or needed anything besides an annual oiling! I recommend for the mountain hunter and avid hiker!

Meindl are truely one of the best brands of leather boots money can buy. They are British sized, so if you're not used to that, spend some time figuring your correct size. I am a 9 1/2 US and found the Brit. size 9 somewhat large. They are light for a full leather boot and the heat activated memory foam insoles and uppers make for a comfortable fit. The laces can be speed released down to the last two lugs- makes for easy booting up and down. At first I thought the ankles were a bit high, but for easy uphill, I didn't lace the top lugs which made trail ascending comfortable. Tightening up the laces, especially the mid-foot area, makes for a well supported descent. Meindl costs more, but the quality is worth paying for.

Extremely comfortable and well made boots. I have already put some miles on these boots and I had very happy feet. I probably should have gone a half size larger for thicker socks but I'm not sure if I need to with the current fit and comfort level.

Der Meindl-Schuh ist qualitqtiv sehr hochwertig.Allerdings ist die normale Straßenschuhgröße hier keine Hilfe.Man sollte den Größenfinder von Meindl zur Hilfe nehmen.Statt der Größe 43 braucht man hier gut 44 oder 44,5.Der Schuh ist sehr bequem und trägt sich super.Man hat auch auf längeren Touren keine Probleme.

hatte diese schuhe auf einer 4 tägigen wandertour dabei! sie halten extrem war und passen wirklich sehr gut. die letzten ösen muss man beim zubinden wirklich fest zumachen, sodass der fuß nicht zu viel spielraum im schuh hat. blasen oder ähnliches waren dadurch überhaupt gar kein thema!

dieser Schuh erfüllt meine Erwartungen, paßt und läßt sich sehr gut drin laufen, wenn nun noch das Versprechen "wiederbesohlbar" in Zukunft für machbares Geld zutrifft, dann wars perfekt

Après 6 mois d'utilisation tous les jours, je suis agriculteur, le collage de semelle me semble bien fragile sous la pointe du pieds, je pense essayer de faire refaire la semelle complète, les crampons sont déjà presque disparus.
