The Forever Angels: Near-Death Experiences in Childhood and Their Lifelong Impact Paperback – Illustrated, September 3, 2019

As I remembered being born and when I was very sick seeing evil entity trying to get me where others couldn’t see. No one believed me until I met “evil entity” again at last teenage, I remember everything then realized we are the home itself. Now this book has spoken. 60 years later.

As a family therapist for 30 years, I am grateful to discover PMH Atwater's book, "Forever Angel"s. I had a near-death experience in early childhood that changed my life's perspective. After the NDE, at 4 yrs old, there was no way to talk with my family about the spiritual-psychological experience - their concern was for my physical well being - the knot on my head, bruising from the accident. But emotionally, during the NDE, I had discovered another reality parallel to the physical that inspired me to bring language and deep thought to the multi-dimensionality of human life. Making the invisible visible has informed my life's work - no doubt as a result of this extraordinary childhood experience. I am grateful to the authors of Forever Angels for their unrelenting effort to shine light upon the unique sensitivities that NDE children hold within, longing for language to bring clarity and self-expression as to how they are shaped by those unique personal experiences.

This book truly lightened my life. I had several NDEs in early childhood and I have wondered for most of my life why I was so different. I already had a very strong spiritual life that I attributed some of my gifts to. But while reading this I realized the big why's for so many little things. So cathartic in bringing it al together for me! I would recommend this book for NDEs and PTSDs for illumination on many levels.

The content of the book is interesting and well worth reading. Unfortunately, I purchased it on Audible and what a disappointment. The narrator has such a thick heavy accent that she is nearly impossible to understand. I keep having to backtrack and listen to the same chapter over again. She also speaks rapidly to add to the fun. I have purchased several dozen books on Audible and have never encountered this before. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I love this book. Even purchased a second copy for a dear friend of mine. Since P.M.H. has been to the other side three times and couples that with a relentless integrity, I trust what she shares. Her extensive contributions play a role is my knowingness about the Truth about the full range of who we really are. And, based on her relentless drive for data, there's new information in this book. Forever grateful.

PMH always gives deeper insight into the meaning and after effects of NDEs, which is more important than the brief experience on the "other" side. But people's fear about death makes them focus on the event - where they went, what they saw before they returned to their body. As an experiencer that is not the big story. Life here is.

This is not a Christian book. New age, nonsense and ufo’s.

Proportedly an exhaustive study of near death experiences in the very young. Very unscientific, poorly organized and badly written. There's recounting of case studies, but also material from older publications, by this author and others... filler. Included traditional heaven/Jesus/angel visions to alien abduction, past lives/reincarnation, in-utero memories, and the overlay of different or additional souls during NDEs. Accounts if NDEs were solicited via social media with no apparent attempt to screen out the mentally unstable from the study. So disappointing. The book is in my garbage can.
