Used these for pressing bacon. Kept the bacon from shriveling up.I also used these as a pounder for chicken. Worked really well. Yes, I know that is not the purpose but when you are too lazy to get out the mallet, this worked well.

These jewels will come in handy when my home is back in order since Ida paid us a visit. Purchased a 30 inch cast iron grittle to cook lots of food. No more shriveled up bacon & crispier hash browns. Now will definately cook fried rice & vegtables.
