How to Be a Mindful Drinker: Cut Down, Stop for a Bit, or Quit

Kindle Version Unreadable: Font is too small
The Kindle version of this book does not have the normal font adjustment so that the text can be enlarged or changed. As a consequence the only way in which the page can be enlarged is by spreading your fingers on the Kindle screen. This is not really satisfactory as any subsequent touching of the screen quickly returns the magnification to an extremely small font which is virtually unreadable. This comment is not intended to reflect on the content of the book. I would certainly have requested a refund on this version of the book, but after 7 days I could find no way to do that.

great self-help book
This was a beneficial self-help book for alcoholics and well as non-alcoholics. There are helpful worksheets at the end of each chapter. They provide mindful techniques for cravings. I found the techniques good when I applied them to food cravings, as well.I received this galley from NetGalley.

Does what it says on the tin. It's a guide to becoming more mindful about your drinking, and caters for everyone from people who want to quit altogether, to people who want to cut down, and rein their drinking in a bit. It doesn't tell you what to do, or give you rules, but instead guides you through a number of activities and thought processes where you can honestly reflect on your drinking and what it means for you. There's loads of quit lit out there, of all different kinds, but this one is fairly unique in what it offers.

Font too small to read on Kindle
I bought this on my Kindle and would love to read it but the font is too small for me to read and doesn’t to be enlarged in the usual way.

Brilliant tools to overcome excessive drinking
If you got it, This book has it. For every problem, There is a solution. As you know when someone drinks a lot, There's a lot of taboo around it, So much that it could be difficult for someone to open up and actually get help. This book is ideal for those who want to have a better quality of life, With drink taking a less important back seat. This book covers subjects you usually don't find elsewhere, Such as dating, Sex, Special occasions and basically how to deal with all sorts of day to day situations when you are trying to reduce or recover from a drinking habit. This is a must-have forward thinking book to help those who may be too embarrassed to go to group sessions or see a counsellor. Well done for reaching this review, And good on you for reaching out to help yourself x
