I was very excited to find this tool (saw a video online). Now after trying it I can honestly say, that it is useful, but not quite as great as I hoped it to be.First of all, there is absolutely no way that it can create new edging. No way. It is a bit awkward to get used to and requires to bend down and stay that way while working (not the easiest of positions to work in). It seems to me that it would be more efficient if there was a sharpened point where the edger is bent; this would allow to minimize necessary force to use it.On the plus side I think it will be very useful to maintain existing edging during summer season. Right now I will use conventional methods to recreate the edges which are all but washed away by winter precipitation. But in summer I will be able to refresh all edging with this tool in just an hour or so. Just take it out once a month and quickly drag around all flower beds. That way it will make maintenance very easy.To sum it all up. No regrets buying it, am sure I will use it, but do not expect a miracle. Seems solid and I think will last a long time. I will update this review after a couple of months, who knows, I might fall in love with this thing.....

This is an absolutely great tools. It does exactly what it claims. It works best for flower beds that are already cut and just need refreshing. It does work on new beds, but it's a lot of work. Would highly recommend!

The shipment was delayed and I was a bit frustrated but I am happy to say that being patient paid off. This tool is easy to use and will help control the grass invasion of my flower beds.

Other reviewers had a good feel for this. I would buy it again. Doubt it would edge something that has not been edged in the last year but to put a fine edge in it in the spring it works great.

Does not work well in wet soil.

I found out about this tool from one of my favorite Youtube authors. I decided to give it a try based off of his recommendation. When it arrived I noticed it needed some help. The edge put on the Kwik edge was done too quick. I had to regrind the cutting edges. It is also a bit short. I am 6'1" and it can be a bit of a workout on your back. I also added another cutting edge to help cut roots back into the bed edges. Overall 4/5 after some adjustments.

This does not work in anything but cultivated soil. For my purposes, worthless, since I live in an area with clay soil and minimal rain. Even in the springtime, cannot “cut” through the soil and edge the areas around my trees - which are bordered and mulched. But - may work fine in loam???

This was a great purchase! We had a lot of rain so it was pretty easy to edge my garden beds. I do have to bend over much more than I thought I would have to but it works amazing! I did have to get started with a spade first. I do think sharpening the edge will make it even better!
