Beauty Face Sculpting Basics Brush Set, 3 Count

One of my daughters has been working with a more comprehensive makeup, so I got her this set of brushes to complement the brushes I’d already gotten her. I really don’t like how beauty sponges work, at least how these young girls are learning to use them from YouTube. They apply the makeup way too thick and they waste a lot of product. I’ve always used brushes on my own makeup and when I was doing stage makeup for others. Brushes just give you much better control and use the minimum of product. I researched A2Z Beauty and Leaping Bunny lists them as cruelty-free. Very cool.These seem nicely made and the bristles are flexible and soft. The bristles are very tight and don’t pull out. I pulled on each brush’s bristles to check the tightness.I know some have said the bristles on these brushes are natural, but I can’t figure out where they’re seeing that. I have no idea how to tell the difference, I guess, because these seem synthetic. Either that or I’m just missing something.However, whatever the bristles are made of, these are nice brushes and I’m glad I got them for my daughter. Happy as can be with the three set makeup brush.. I ordered these to accompany with the A2z blush palette and glad I did.. the smaller brush of three, is a perfect to fit on the single 1x1 square- but note, this could be used with the A2z brands set of blushes.. or, any other blush of your choice! The small brush has a contoured edge with just enough angle, that it can be very precise to add the desired amount of blush to a specific spot/zone on the cheekbone.. If, using more then x1 color in different places on the face, like I do- this brush is really handy for that (I use it to transfer x2 colors and x1 highlighter to the desired ‘zones’ on my face!) So, Small size for application.. then, after placement- I like to switch out to the bigger of the 3 brushes and use the pouf to blend them in!All x3 brushes have a firm feel to the actual brush.. tbh, I like the firmness with the smaller size brush- But, prefer a bit more softness in the larger poufs.. I think the softer pouf helps glide along the face easier and this helps with natural blending. Don’t get me wrong! This large size isn’t rough in any way- it just lacks a little extra touch of those oversized style brushes can feel/be so, so soft!The connections of all x3 brushes to the handle feel sturdy and strong. No loose ends or movement in the handle construction at all. The bristle of the brushes all seem soft enough and cut to shape and size as expected.. and these a natural (not synthetic!) bristles!! overall, for the price point being under $10- this is a great 3 piece set that really covers the basic needs.. and for anyone wanting a good/standard set, this does not disappoint.. these 3 natural bristle brushes can do their job and do it well! I’d definitely recommend..

Update: After third time using bristles completely came out of two of the brushes!I love all things make-up and have been experimenting and “playing” with makeup for over 20 years. I have tried all sorts of brushes from high end to drugstore. These are more of the kind of brushes you would find at the drugstore (although I have purchased some good ones there before). They are slightly stiff, even with the soft bristles it makes blending out product difficult. The heads are small as well so they are best for bold in place color application. Overall not impressed.

These brushes exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price. First, I love that each brush is labeled with its purpose, i.e. powder, contour and foundation. The only brush set I have gotten where the brushes were labeled for its purpose was 3 times the price and half the quality of this one. The handles are easy to hold, the weight of the brush is decent, and the actual bristles in each set are perfect for what they are designed to do. The back of the box also gives tips on how to apply my make up using these brushes - so don’t forget to look there. I found the tips to be handy and I have used make up for years. I have used other A2z products, and they have all been exceptionally affordable and great quality. I highly recommend these brushes!

The quality of these three makeup brushes is excellent. The brushes are soft and full. The handles are comfortable to hold, and easy to maneuver. This set includes a contour brush, a foundation brush, and a powder brush. The bristles on the contour brush are angled in such a way that makes it ideal for contouring around the nose area. Using the contour brush, I can precisely add shadows and highlights to my face. The foundation brush allows me to quickly apply smooth and even foundation coverage over my face. It is less wasteful than using makeup sponges, which tend to absorb a lot of foundation into it. This brush is a great tool for creating the illusion of flawless skin. The powder brush is soft and plush. I use this to set my makeup with setting powder. It distributes the fine powder evenly so that my makeup does not look caked on. These brushes are easy to clean and maintain. The bristles do not fall out. This set is a great value, at an affordable price.

Great set of the Basic Brushes you use everyday!! The handles are fat, easy grip and comfy in your hands!!! The bristles are super Soft and grab powders perfectly for facial application!!! Good Deal..... Thank you!!!
