Product Description GlovePlus Heavy Duty Exam Grade Powder-Free Nitirle Gloves have thickness of 8 mils and it is 12" long from the tip of the middle finger to the edge of the beaded cuff, which extends to cover the wrist and lower forearm. Nitrile provides better elasticity than vinyl, better puncture resistance than latex or vinyl and better abrasion resistance than chloroprene and it reduces the likelihood of allergic reaction. This glove is suitable for the healthcare industry and for use in non-surgical medical procedures. The glove is textured on the fingertips, fingers and palm for improved grip compared to a glove with textured fingers, particularly in wet environments. This powder-free glove leaves no residue, reducing the risk of contamination compared to a powdered glove, making it suitable for use for emergency responder, electronic components, forensic and laboratory applications. May also be use for part washing. The color of this ambidextrous glove is blue. Disposable and limited-use gloves are used in medical, forensic, scientific, food service and industrial applications. Disposable gloves are commonly made from flexible materials such as latex, nitrile, chloroprene and vinyl. While most disposable gloves are designed for use on either hand, some can be purchased in hand-specific models. They are offered powdered or powder-free; silicone or silicone-free; chlorinated or non-chlorinated; coated or uncoated; with a standard- or extended-length cuff; sterile or non-sterile; and with textured or smooth fingers, fingertips and palms. Chemical resistance means the glove helps protect the hand from certain chemicals and varies by glove material. For information on the chemical resistance of this glove, consult the AMMEX chemical resistance guide. AMMEX distributes medical and industrial products such as gloves, first aid supplies, face masks and other protective coverings. The company, founded in 1988, is headquartered in Kent, WA. From the Manufacturer These extra-strong, exam-grade gloves offer exceptional resistance to rips and tears.

They resist puncture like no other I have tried
I'm a plumbing contractor and use these daily under heavy use. They resist puncture like no other I have tried. They fit tight and allow super dexterity. They also have a long sleeve which is a plus. When picking up small nuts and fumbling them over sharp, waxy bolts I would have to double-up lesser gloves and still end up going through three pairs per toilet replacement. With these, it's one pair per job. My apprentice proved their worth to me last week when I noticed he was re-using his pair through multiple jobs! He felt they were "nice" and "must be expensive". The fact that he was able to pull them off and re-fit them, showed me they are the only gloves I will keep in my van.Love these. I was paying the same for thin latex "premium" brand at the supply house, so to me, price to quality cannot be beat.

Gloves are 11-inches not 12-inches
I would give three stars for this glove if they were actually 12-inches long, they are not, they are 11-inches long as shown in the image. Is that a big deal? Ask anyone the value of an additional inch!I purchased the '12-inch' glove with the intention of protecting my long-sleeve shirts while washing dishes, sanding in the workshop, painting, or weeding in the garden. The lack of the additional inch doesn't quite measure up to the job!I purchased extra thick gloves thinking they might offer a bit more durability, they don't, and what it does is make them more difficult to remove for reuse. The size X-Large is accurate, which is what I need to fit my hands.

I'm a beekeeper and I hate working with the heavy goatskin gloves that usually come with the full bee suit. I wear these, since they are puncture resistant, in hopes that the bees can't puncture through them. So far, so good. These fit well and are comfortable although my hands get a little sweaty if I wear them for long on a hot day. I've had no stings but my bees are pretty calm and I don't really bother them. Anyway, these gloves give me more confidence when I'm working in the hive and it's easier to feel what I'm doing and avoid squishing my beloved bees.

Thinner than 8 mil.
These are much thinner than they are rated. I would call them 5 mil. In the photos, I took measurements of a double layer using a fold of the palm and then a quadruple layer using the palm and opposite back (since they are ambidextrous, "front" and "back" should be the same). Measurements were taken with a high-precision digital caliper.

I like now. Previous review: Size smaller than normal gloves; wrong color; makes my skin feel yucky.
I ordered the large size. I fit into larges in every other glove. But these gloves have SHORT FINGERS. They also aren't very wide. I am a woman, thin boned, but with long fingers. I also ordered the ones that said they are white. Blue was shipped. They also have some kind of weird coating or something on them that my skin does not like. Fortunately, seller refunded.UPDATE: Perhaps it is because these gloves aired out, but I like them now. They are very strong and hold up well to repeated use. However, the large size is too small for my right hand. I have been wearing them to allow oil to soak into my skin for conditioning, and I can't type with my right hand because they are too tight. I am ordering the extra-large. Kind of crazy. I am 5' 7 1/2 inches tall. I do have long fingers, and always have to buy men's large winter gloves but, c'mon! I hope the extra large is not too loose.

Way too small. Not extra large as box is labeled.
I ordered extra large gloves, the box says extra large. I guarantee you these are not extra large gloves. I use this exact kind of extra large glove at work doing pesticide application on a farm for a university. Unusable. Stiff. I don't see how they messed this up. look at the other comments people are saying it's too small.

Not what they use to be.
Not as durable as they use to be. Was able to go full day on one pair now 3 pairs. The older gloves where lighter in color, newer are darker and no longer puncture resistant as they use to be.

Excellent for painting/building models
I use these specifically for making models and I must say there is a huge difference between the 8 thickness of these as compared to the 4 thickness you typically see at the drug store. When making models sometimes a little bit of force will cut a 4 size glove making it completely useless. I'm not saying these are indestructible but they have double the protection. I like the fact that there is a lot of tack with these gloves as well. It's much easier to handle small parts. I never got this sort of tack with 4 gloves and it was quite the opposite. I will be buying these again when I run out.

stiff and not resistant
they are thick and stiff.you would expect high resistance in exchange to the discomfort...But they are ripping up as easy as any cheap 3-4mil gloves!

Great but snug
These truly are heavier and stronger than the others I have tried but they fit small. My hands are medium at the most and they are snug.
