It’s a 5-in-1 Mobile Phone Car Mount Holder Cradle from me, but just in 21 states.
After recently discovering the Waze smart phone navigation application, I switched from being a long time user of Garmin GPS to using my cell phone for directions and needed a holder for the phone. We have four cars in the family – all pretty old, so I don’t write this to boast – and the Omaker 3-in-1 Mobile Phone Car Mount Holder Cradle seemed perfect for my needs, especially the windshield mount for getting the phone exactly where I want it. After I ordered the Omaker 3-in-1 Holder Cradle, but before it arrived, I discovered that windshield mounts are illegal in 29 states including my state of New Jersey. I’ve listed those states below. In eight other states there are laws restricting where on the windshield the mounts can be placed.Although these laws are not often enforced and I see many vehicles on the road with suction cups mounted to windshields, I decided it was best not to give the police an excuse to pull me over, so my plan was to return the Phone Car Mount Holder Cradle as soon as it arrived, except after it did arrive, it didn’t seem worth the time and effort to return a $14 product. So I kept it and figured I would work around the windshield mount issue as best I could.I was pleasantly surprised with how well the dashboard suction cup stuck to my textured dashboard. The suction cup has a slightly sticky surface which provided an airtight fit. Not sure what will happen after the sticky surface attracts dust but for now it’s working great. I also wish the dashboard mount would lift the phone up a little higher on my primary car. But it works fine on the othersThe vent mounting device only fits on two of my four vehicle vents, but that’s okay - I prefer the mount just above the steering wheel so that I can glance at the phone screen with a quick eye movement and then get back to watching the road, rather than having to move my head and search below the windshield for the phone screen in the vent area.I was happily surprised when I discovered that the Omaker Cradle would work with my two Garmin portable mounting devices (see photo), one a friction type mount and the other with a weighted bean bag type mount.Adding these two mounts to my arsenal gives me good options for all my vehicles. It would be great if I could use the windshield mount with the flexible arm, as i had originally planned to get the phone exactly where I want it above the steering wheel for safe glances between the road and navigation system, but unfortunately my state legislators think they know way more than I do about such personal comfort and safe driving matters. As for the Omaker 3-in-1 Mobile Phone Car Mount Holder Cradle in general, it is well built, and very easy to use. The phone stays put in both the horizontal and vertical positions and there is plenty of room for the charging cord to plug into my Galaxy S4 phone. The button in the back makes it easy to get the phone out of the holder and the gripping arms make it easy to secure the phone into the holder. I am happy with this purchase and extra happy that the cradle works with my Garmin mounts. Now if I could just find a use for my Garmin GPS machines. If you would rather not hand over your hard earned money to municipalities in the form of violation fines here is a list of states where windshield mounts are illegal:AlabamaArkansasConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaGeorgiaIdahoIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMontanaNebraskaNew JerseyNew MexicoNorth DakotaOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTexasVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingAnd here is a list of state with laws that restrict the windshield mounting location:ArizonaCaliforniaHawaiiIndianaMarylandOhioNevadaUtahArizonaCaliforniaHawaiiIndianaMarylandOhioNevadaUtah

Excellent Quality
I love this kit! I bought it because I use my phone as a GPS (Google Maps) and I was going on vacation. I needed a way to set my phone up so that I could see it and be hands free. It worked really well. It shrank to fit my then-phone which was very small. When I bought the Moto G4, I was afraid it wouldn't expand enough to hold it, but it does. In fact, it has a bit of room to spare. I like the fact that it has three different options for mounting. The vent clip worked really well in my rental car, but when I got home and tried to use it in my SUV it kept falling out so I switched to the smaller arm. All three of them adhere pretty well to any smooth surface in my car. I did not have good luck getting it to stick to the textured surface in my SUV. That didn't matter though because it stuck beautifully and sits upright near my cupholders. I highly recommend this set. I wasn't paid for my review, and I didn't get a discount. I paid full price for this product and it was worth it. I am going to buy a couple to use a stocking stuffers for my family this Christmas. It's a nice, quality piece that will fit any phone.

Very Good But!
As far as quality, functionality and ruggedness, I think this product is very promising. Another reviewer posted a video about it which I recommend everyone to watch. Now if you have a phablet phone like me (Note 4 in a heavy duty case), you have no issue as far as the fit, it holds the phone securely and you can release it with ease.. BUT due to the position of the gripping arms when holding such a large phone, the center of mass changes and the phone is easily prone to vibrate when you touch it or your car goes over a very slight bump on the road when is attached to windshield holder. It can be annoying specially if you are using your phone's navigation map. I presume you can get used to it. See the picture.Attention Product Team: you can solve this vibrating issue by simply removing the bottom section of the holder which acts as a cradle (potentially useful when the phone is positioned in non-landscape mode if any) with hole in the middle which then allows the phone to be adjusted in such a way that the gripping arms holding the phone in the middle of top and bottom edges thus distributing the weight of the phone evenly. The cradle is useless for me since I always position my phone in landscape mode. The second option is to allow the gripping arms to slide across the top and bottom of the holder allowing the proper position regardless of the phone's size.Update 08/13/20161. I have pushed the envelope by attaching a 3-D chrome Batman symbol to the back of the phone's case (I am metamorphosing into a Batman as going through the middle age crisis :-) ) Well, the phone is now much heavier and thicker. To my surprise, the holder's gripping arms were able to accommodate the extra thickness and keep the phone secure in place. The suction cup handled the additional weight with no problem. So far it is looking good. Also, this additional weight deems to dampen the initial vibration that I mentioned previously.2. Product spec stated the product dimension as 5.4 x 3.8 x 3.5 inches. I measured the dimensions of the holder (my main interest) and it is 4.2X2.5X1.5 (gripping arms closed) and 4.2X4.1X1.5 (gripping arms opened max). I am not quite sure what the stated dimensions mean here since you can have 3 configurations and the only constant is the holder size. I happened to browsing around and saw this 2 in 1 product which appeared to have an identical holder to this one with stated dimension 5.9 x 3 x 2.3 inches.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015OCTYUU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I thought may be this holder is bigger and ordered it. It turned out the holder is identical to this one (they all come from one OEM manufacture) with different color. The color matches my car car (silver exterior and black interior). I am keeping it for this reason. Moral of the story: Dimensions may not be what you are thinking :-)
