Melody Jane Dolls Houses Modern Little Girl in Party Dress 1:12 Scale Porcelain People

Well she seemed like a Barbie in her skin. It wasn’t porcelain like I was expecting

This is a nice little doll, her arms and legs pose really well and she looks nice in my 1:12 scale dollhouse. However it’s good to know if you’re also ordering other Melody Jane dolls, that she’s a little bit big compared to the adults. That was a bummer only because I was hoping they would all be proportionate to each other. The other thing I’m not a huge fan of is that her hair is glued smooth and only a few times of touching it made it full of goop. As far as being a model for a house, you may have to worry about size (if you’re particular) otherwise she’s really very good for the price! If you’re looking for something a child would encounter, even if they’re gentle she’s super delicate and will probably be ruined quickly. Solid 4/5 from me overall.

We both liked this one and it is the "young girl" size we wanted. Many children dolls were either baby or toddler size. This one is perfect and it wasn't too expensive so a child could play with it.

My daughter doll is wonderful. Her details are very well done. I do have to say however that I am a tad disappointed that her clothes are part of her structure and therefore, not removable. I love making doll clothes and was hoping to dress her for special events in the house.
