There are no real written directions, it is done by picture or you can go to a YouTube video. Something to watch out for is the direction of the tiles before interlocking them.There are a variety of cute animal shape.One last thing, once assembled there is some disassembling required to string the lights. Just a pain.

The finished product is quite cute. When I purchased for my kids I didnt realize each box has 3 options for building.That being said, there was NO WAY we were going to be able to build this using the printed instructions. The diagrams are very very confusing. Thank goodness for the QR and video. Even using the video I had to pause and replay part several times. In many cases the demo was barely in the screen or the hands were covering the key piece of information. It took about 2 hours to assemble, mostly with me doing it and my 8 year old watching. It takes a good deal of dexterity and strength to connect the pieces.We were also missing a piece so subbed a different color. When we finished i was exhausted and just stuffed the lights in. The demo video seemed to demonstrate an elegant way to thread the lights that involved disconnecting pieces of the already assembled unit, and there was no way I was taking it apart again.

I think it's a fun little puzzle and interesting but kind of challenging to piece together and the instructions weren't the biggest help. Not impossible but takes more trial and error than necessary.

Bigger than I expected but had to watch a YouTube video to know to assemble because the instruction included were vague, confusing and down right useless. Product itself surpasses expectations.

Very cute but the box says 8 years and up I don’t know many 8 year olds who could sit through putting this thing together and plastic is hard to work with the directions are basically useless and the video instruction was so hard to understand and moved so fast it took me 3 hours to put it together just to have to take it apart to put the string lights in my hands hurt after fighting with the thing for so long so it’s cool but I don’t know if it was worth the money 🤷🏻‍♀️

I purchased this light for my cat loving 5.5 yo for Christmas. We frequently do crafts together and I though this would be a fun project for us to work on together. I guess I didn't read the reviews closely enough because this was difficult for me to put together by myself. The instructions that are included are terrible you might as well throw them in the trash. After reading through other reviews I decided to head to Youtube for help. After finding the video it only took me about 20 minutes to put together. The finished product is very cute and my daughter loves it.

Do yourself a favor and watch the youtube video. The instructions are USELESS!!!!!!!

Great fun! This product was a hit with my kids.

I've spent £4 more to have english instructions. More fool me, the 'instructions' were only pictures. The finished product is not worth the price either.
