Windy Hill never fails to deliver with their beautiful Santa and Mrs. Claus holiday dolls. They make Santa for every holiday, whether it be Christmas, Easter, Summer time or the Fourth of July. They are very detailed and made of fine fabrics. This Santa has a gorgeous velour coat decorated with sparkly silver snowflakes trimmed with white faux fur. He has a large crystal at the end of his hat instead of the usual pom pom. In one hand he is holding a silver embossed bell (it doesn't ring) decorated with ribbons, pearls and white poinsettia, and in the other hand, a white satin bag filled with presents and a silver reindeer. Although not designed for Hanukkah, he is decorated in colors used for Hanukkah, so he goes beautifully with our Hanukkah decor. He wears a silver and white braided belt and has a large oval acrylic rhinestone on his chest. If you like to decorate with Winter-themed colors, this Santa is perfect and can be displayed during the winter months as well as Christmas.He has the cheery Santa face and I believe there's a Black version of this Santa as well. He is 16" high and can stand on his own. So you don't need a doll stand for this Santa. His legs and feet are very sturdy and appear to be made of resin. We have several Windy Hill Santas for Hanukkah, Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's Day. We use them as centerpieces or as part of our decor. The price is quite good for something of this quality and craftsmanship. Sometimes Amazon will offer Windy Hill products on sale as well, so keep checking back. He is a keeper very nice and blue just like it looks. A little pricey in my opinion but I wanted this last year and did not buy so this year I splurged.

Just what I expected

I was given a very similar Santa years ago by my Mother in law. I have 3 daughters and eachone has said to me that when I no longer wanted it ,to please give it to them ! I finally solvedthe problem .After years of searching I finally found it and bought 3 !

This is a very beautiful Santa. His coat is well-made and absolutely lovely, and the props he is holding accentuate his outfit nicely. My mom loves it! Our only complaint about the design of this Santa is that his face is basically identical to another Windy Hill Santa we purchased a few years ago. This isn't inherently a bad thing -- we just prefer variety. But if similarly-faced Santas aren't a deal-breaker for you, the Windy Hill Collection makes some really nice, quality Santas, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.My major complaint with this purchase was the SHIPPING. My word. It was shipped in a box with a picture of the Santa on it! This was a gift for my mom, and the picture completely ruined the surprise. Granted, I didn't check the little "this is a gift" box on Amazon, so that's partially on me -- but who would have thought they would ship it in a box with a picture of the product directly on it?? That seems like a recipe for package-thievery. (Or maybe a deterrent? I guess if thieves KNOW it's a Santa and not an iPad, they'd be less likely to steal it. But still.) The box also wasn't sealed with tape or anything. It arrived perfectly intact, but I dunno -- the lack of tape feels like they're tempting fate a bit. Also, the feet were detached from the Santa when it arrived, and at first, I thought that was just so it would fit better in the box during shipping, but when we tried to reattach the feet, they wouldn't go in easily. One kept falling off, so we ended up just gluing them in. It's fine now, but I don't think that's how it's intended to work.Anyway, the Santa is very lovely and definitely worth the hassle. But... there could've been a little less hassle.

Color is an amazing royal blue with striking silver accessories on the Santa, like a bell and silver bows. I was delighted when I opened it and love looking at this Santa. Box was damaged when it arrived but fortunately Santa was not.
