Worked for near daily usage for about 19 months. Now, the connections, both in the USB outlet and where the headphone plugs in are loose and the sound comes and goes. I don't regret buying, but am going to try another brand this time. It worked for a while, but I wish it worked longer.

I have been very happy with LZYCO products. I think the audio quality out of this is even better than when the headphones are plugged directly into the 3.5mm headphone jack of my laptop. I got it because the jack started to lose the connection on one channel and headphones would only work on one side unless the plus was inserted most of the way in but not all of the way in... it was just a pain. Now I get great sound quality without having to fuss with trying to plug in the headphones juuuust right to get them to work.

Sound quality is good as far as speech or voice sounds is concerned. Sound gets slightly deteriorate if music notes are rich. Main purpose was to save the audio port of tablet from getting damaged from daily use. Its costly to repair/replace audio port on tablet.

Functional, but has a major issue: it produces a lot of background "hiss" in the audio. This is a considerable distraction, especially when listening to quieter music or watching a movie. I'm only keeping it as a last resort, in the event that my regular headphone jack becomes unusable. If you're at all concerned about sound quality, I would suggest spending more for a better product.

I've used this a couple of times now. It works flawlessly. I have a pair of earbuds with a microphone I plug into it. As soon as I plugged the USB end into a port on the computer, it was recognized and configured to work. I unplug it when not in use then reinsert it when needed. I use it with a new Logitech webcam. Audio and video both work great. I haven't used it for phone calls yet, but I'm confident it will work fine for that also.

Got this because I'm working form home using a old laptop our IT Dept. gave me to use that has a separate mic and headphone plugs. I don't use this for anything else than to use it as a phone. I don't know anything about these jacks, but the IT guy told me that I need a jack like the picture to make it work. Wish I bought it sooner, bending over the laptop and shouting into it for almost 1.5 months was stupid.

My PC is far away from my desk and I had no way to use my headphones, but I did have a usb hub. This was a great solution. My girlfriend's headphones had a microphone built in and it used a single cable to connect, so it didnt work with her PC. This worked perfectly for her too, so two birds with one stone!

Description not clear.To clarify! This works ONLY with 3.5mm HEADPHONES. 1 way, out; AND hands free (2 way) with headphone/microphone IN THE SAME LINE!DOES NOT WORK as a LINE IN ONLY MICROPHONE! If you are like me and need a MICROPHONE IN port only, order an external sound card with at least 2 dedicated ports! One dedicated for headphone, and another dedicated for microphone!!
