Wow! An incredible Laser Cutter! IF you're looking for one you just found it!
I haven't left very many reviews, I'm kind of lazy about it. But this laser cutter has really changed the way I work and what I can make. I like to create a lot of things from RC planes to robots and this is a game changer. I have two 3D printers, FDM and resin, a home built CNC, and now this and it's the best tool in my shop. The software is easy and intuitive and the footprint is not much bigger than a printer. Its quiet and clean and works perfectly out of the box with about 10 minutes of setup. I've already sent about 15 ornaments to family for the holidays, made a pile of plane parts, and a ton of stuff from Thingiverse. If you're looking for a powerful home scale laser cutter that performs like a professional machine you can't beat this and the cost is more than competitive. Mine lives in the workshop but its attractive and small enough that it could live in the house.

Arrived soaking wet inside of unit
I was excited to use this laser cutter for some school projects, but it's just been a waste of time. I opened the unit and found it odd that the user manual was water stained. I looked closer and it seems something burst inside of the unit (probably the water coolant tank) and it leaked everywhere. Instead of trying to dry it or turn it on, I just decided to pack it back up and return it. Shame. It was the Flux's price point that steered me away from Glowforge, but I guess in order to get a functioning unit, I have to spend more. I want to reorder this item, but it seems that quality control has gone out the window.

I should have bought this months ago
Wow. I’m so glad I bought this laser. I’ve been working with laser cutters for maybe 10 years at the local makerspace. They were 60, 80 and 100 watt Chinese lasers. Getting them to do what I wanted was always tricky. Chinese lasers aren’t known for ease of use. I wanted to buy a laser for my home shop and thought about spending $500 on a Chinese laser but after doing all the research and math, it just seemed like spending the extra money on a Beamo would save a whole lot of time and headache. Wow, it sure did. It’s so easy to use. The camera is a feature that I didn’t even realize would be so helpful. I was cutting really nice parts out within minutes of opening the box. Can’t do that with a Chinese laser. Amazing. I should have bought this months ago. It’s worth the money. The ventilation could be a little more effective. Acrylic gets smelly. But all in all, just awesome. Slices through 6mm wood like butter.

two systems and two broken laser tubes
The laser cutter "seems" great, but so far I haven't really been able to use it since both times it was shipped with a broken water circulator. Which, if you don't know, renders the system useless since it has to be cooled. The picture here is what it looked like out of the box where that end cap is supposed to be there to keep the water in. Otherwise, it shoots water all over the inside, which is what it does now. Since there is no glass in the machine anywhere, it seems to me that the tube was shipped this way, which kind of sucks. Especially since the first one they sent also had a broken tube. Those tubes aren't cheap so not very happy here.

Excellent Beginner Laser Cutter/Engraver
I am brand new to laser cutting. Some laser cutters are way out of my price range, but I was able to fit the Beamo into my budget. I'm so glad I did! This machine is amazing! I have cut and etched wood. I have etched acrylic. The machine handled it with no problem. The software connects to the Beamo. There is a camera that lets you see the item on the laser bed so you can place your text or image exactly where you want it. The software isn't made for designing images, but you can use images designed in Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Silhouette Studio, or Inkscape, and probably others. If you're looking for a good entry into the world of laser cutting and engraving, this is the tool for you!! I LOVE IT!!

BUYER BEWARE no refund for damaged item
I received this item after the expected date, and when it did arrive, it was wet inside! Beware! As I read other reviews, I see this is common. I figured it fit to shipping in Michigan in freezing weather. It did not sit outside once it arrived. I immediately brought it in, opened it, let it air dry, added water to the cracked reservoir hoping it was just the top. Once I started the pump, water shot out all over! This led me to find the broken glass laser tube! No exchange available, so I shipped it back. They received it two weeks ago, and still refuse to refund my money due to it being a “high dollar item!” BUYER BEWARE!

Good value and easy to use
I researched a lot for lasers, it all came down to the Flux Beamo because the easy of use, software and reliability. Not impressed with the camera feature, for some reason we can’t get it to be accurate enough and it only captures small sections at a time. Perhaps with more tinkering...Of course there’re better options out there, but not under 2k. Overall, good value and many applications. Will update after more uses, haven’t had the time just yet.

Great little laser engraver for Hobbyist
We had picked this up as a hobby engraver, which those hobbies ended up being sold, which ended up for us needing a much bigger laser. So, from $2,000 starting to now waiting for our $40,000 engraver to come in, all within just over a month. If you plan on just using as a personal hobby laser, this is amazing, but don't let it carry you off into doing bigger work, as it'll get much more expensive for you down the road, lol. We still use this for my wifes projects she enjoys, and the rotary attachment for doing cups/tumblers, and it hasn't failed us yet.
