Sylvania LED Light Bulb, 100W Equivalent A19, Efficient 14W, Medium Base, Frosted Finish, 1500 Lumens, White - 1 Pack (74738)

Nice and bright in outdoor house lanterns. Lights up our double width driveway located in a rural area with no other lighting except the sun, moon and stars. Low utility cost LED is great as we use a dusk to dawn on feature to deter wild animals. Note, possums are not deterred. They have on occasion trotted right on into the garage when we forgot to close the door. They probably appreciated the brightly lit pathway to a cozy warm place to sleep.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I’m giving this bulb 5 stars because it works great and is relatively inexpensive. Personally it’s not bright enough for me, but these LED bulbs are all about personal preference. 2700 Kelvin is very yellow, 3000K is not quite so yellow, and 4000K gets you out of the yellow tint and into more of a bright white color. I bought this 3000K and a 4000K to try, and I ended up using the 4000K for my living room table lamp. I’m keeping the 3000K though; it works fine and will do in a pinch if a bulb burns out somewhere in the house.

Holy hell. Bought this for my friend for her room cause she always complains about the light in her room, but Holy moly. You turn this thing on and it's like someone turned on the sun. Update: works great in my sockets, but doesn't work with dimmer switches fir some reason.

This light bulb is basically my new best friend. It gives off the perfect 'I’m not ready for human interaction' glow every morning. Brightens up the entire room so I can locate my coffee, yet soft enough that my eyes don’t stage a full rebellion. Honestly, who needs people when you have lighting like this? 10/10, would replace all my friends with bulbs."

There is nothing magic about this bulb, except that it works as intended, gives off even , well diffused light, and was a good value for the money. Definitely would consider purchasing it again.

Excellent light! I used this in a windowless room while painting the ceiling and walls and it really helped.

It's fine for a regular lamp but with the dimmer switch in my kitchen this light bulb was a complete failure I have a 7 watt night light in the kitchen that was brighter than this lightbulb, So for almost 4$ I'm disappointed but it's too much of a pain to return so I will keep it and just use it for one of my regular lamps. Not a happy customer!
