Does the job but don't try washing it in the dishwasher. And be no means should it be left in water. The top part turned dull with white spots all over it. When I wiped it off, it turn the cloth gray. Lesson learned. My old one that came with my mixer didn't do that. I wash it by hand now, which is a pain but it can be done. I thought I was getting a Kitchen Aid product. Another lesson learned.
