Daily Guideposts: 365 Spirit-Lifting Devotions for Women

I love that each day's devotional is a story. I enjoyed it so much that I read the whole year's worth of devotionals and then started over and now am trying to go day by day. I subscribe to Guideposts magazine, which I love and this is like more of the same. Very happy with this purchase.

I would give more stars, but 5 is our limit, as I find these to be actually one page short stories, which I am a huge fan! Each daily devotion always includes a scripture reference also, that is tied in with the days encouragement. They are a quick read if you find you don't have much time and most are always uplifting! I have become a reader of Guideposts inspirational readings for quite some time, and am thrilled when I come upon a devotion for the day that is written by one of my favorite authors! The devotions are geared towards women, and written by women, but I find I can share the day's nugget of encouragement with my husband and he too enjoys their meaning. In this fast paced world, you can't go wrong with this devotional book if you're looking for quick daily encouragement, for life! It's like fast, good soul food!

Very uplifting devotionals.

I always look forward to reading this each morning. Good content and mostly applicable to women. I highly recommend it.

With joy I regularly begin each day with a Guidepost devotional story & scripture. Whether the annual book or this special one, the stories/scriptures provide focus and joy.

Enjoyed reading these individual stories of events of different people’s lives.

I kept this book for awhile, but already got rid of it. It was boring and I didn't enjoy the devotions. I tried for months, but just couldn't get into it.

...I keep this devotional on my computer desk and read it, along with the verse in the bible, BEFORE getting on my computer every morning. So far, I find the devotionals very positive and thought-provoking and I find myself re-thinking about what I read through-out my day.In this day and time, positive thinking is hard to maintain, but this spirit-lifting devotional does its job.Thank you AMAZON.

I bought this book as a present for my friend. She enjoys it and has said that she has learnt a lot from it.
