The product is listed as being waterproof but the instruction manual specifically warns against using these outdoors. I built a custom housing for the power supply and light controller (to stay dry) and mounted the lights underneath my deck. I also used heat shrink to connect the two strands. So far so good, however we haven’t seen rain yet.The functionality of the lights seems solid. Though I wish it had the ability to scroll colors. Right now the strip is always one color at one time with no option of anything otherwise. There are still a wide array of other fun options to make these visually appealing so my complaint is a minor one.One recommendation for buyers though is to not rely on mounting these using only the adhesive backing. There are other clips on amazon you can buy for a more solid mounting option.I like this product overall, but if the outdoor elements give me issues I will update my review.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I originally purchased these strip lights to attach to the bottom of a top bunk bed. For light in the bottom bunk bed. I may actually attach this to the wall behind our sectional in the living room at our cabin though. It’s pretty awesome when you have music playing and you have it synced to change with the beat. You can adjust the intensity/brightness of the LED strips and ample footage to work with. I haven’t attached it to the wall yet so I can’t speak for the strength of the adhesive but I temporarily hung it and it gave an awesome glow to the wall behind the sectional. It is fun to do the color change but I also like the warm glow of just the plain white lighting as well. The ease of use with the remote is nice as well. Make sure it’s in range of the sensor though or it won’t work for you. I will up date the review once I have them in service a while but they seem like they’re good quality LED light strips!

We bought 2 sets of these. The first was great, so we got a second set for my other son. After installing the second set, we noticed the first stopped working intermittently Seems that some of the connections got loose. The second set never worked properly from the start. With the first, when they worked, they were amazing! I wish that we had success

GREAT PRODUCT!! Super easy to use and really adaptable. This is my first time using any product like this and I did a professional looking job on my bar. The only down side at all is trying to find a spot to hide the bulky power supply. Watch a quick YouTube video and you'll be an expert in no time

I love having extra indoor lighting and set this up in my living for my roommates and I to enjoy. The music-reaction feature is super fun, especially when I plan to have friends over/parties. The lights were delivered in good packaging and everything was easy to figure out and made a good impression overall.The lights are super easy to set up. You just need to know for sure where you're going to put them because the adhesion is strong.adhesion 5/5installation 5/5value for money 5/5remote 4/5music sync 5/5Both the remote and the music reaction setting only work if you're pretty close to the lights. Maybe a 10 foot radius is needed.Very happy I purchased these, and I would highly recommend them. :)

Second set I've bought for my sons room. Once the are up, don't think about reusing. Super bright. Stay up on wall great and great color!

Works great. I’m using these as accent lights for my closet. It was easy to figure out and so far it’s sticking well. I Velcro’d the remote to the wall and almost use it like a light switch. The colors are pretty fun!
