Good value for the price
I read several reviews before ordering and decided to give it a try. The ham came very well packed and sealed inside a plastic wrap. When I first opened it, it was "moist", but I followed advice from online sources, dried the fat moisture, covered it with a clean rag, and let it sit overnight. Once I did that, it started to cure, and it was great. Yes, as some reviewers noted, it is not the same quality as you would get in Spain, but it has a decent flavor, and for the price, it's pretty good. The provided knife and base were cheap, but they serve their purpose. Just think of them as disposables after you eat the ham. Overall, I am happy and will probably order again!

Good value
Ok I normally don’t write reviews but after reading a few I see that some people need help with this one. Yes it’s small, it CLEARLY says 2.2lbs in the description. Nope, not cheap. Especially if you are comparing it to ham from the local deli. Yes it’s salty, it’s a cured meat. 🤦🏻♀️ Yes, it arrived “wet”. Unpack it, put it in the stand throw a hand towel over it and leave it on your counter for a day or 2. It will be spot on by then. If it arrived dry it would dry out before you got a chance to eat it all. Bone in hand arrive dryer if that’s your goal. The flavor is great! Is it as good as what you will get in Spain at a tapas bar? Nope! But if you are from Spain, currently sitting in Kansas craving some Serrano because you FINALLY found a place with some decent French bread, it will absolutely do the trick!

Pricey, Poor Taste, Terrible Value. Completely Disappointing
Having visited Spain and enjoyed many wonderful tapas featuring Jamon Serrano over several days, I purchased $160 14lb Jamon Serrano after returning to the USA. It was wonderful and my family devoured it over the course of a few weeks... actually before I could make all of the tapas that I planned to make. Rather than purchase another $160 bone-in ham, I went with this smaller 2.2 lbs ham. It's very very small, but all meat. The meat however isn't so great. It was wet, rubbery, and is difficult to carve even using the stand. There's a "seam" of some sort running right through the meat so I can't even get clean cuts. It wants to gape open like a wound. I think that the process of removing the bone completely compromised the cut. You can see in my photos of the top and bottom that it's almost like two or three different pieces of meat that were glued together. What you get looks like some sort of "Hamgina." It is very difficult to get decent pieces of jamon off this rubbery conglomeration of meat. Moreover, the flavor is "meh." It.s been drying on the stand for two days and has yet to taste like anything. It stiffens up a bit over time, but the flavor is nothing approaching that of a real jamon serrano. The aggregate ratings make it look like this is a decent ham, but if you had real Jamon Iberico, or even real Spanish Jamon Serrano, you're going to find this very disappointing. I can't believe I wasted $75 on such a terrible product. For this weak taste and poor curing, I wouldn't pay more than $25. And as others have commented, you can't return it once you open the bag. I think the seller owes me a refund of at least $50 for this waste of meat. DO NOT BUY. Spend more, at least get a good bone-in Spanish Ham. If you can't find/afford that, go with Texas Iberico, or an American Virginia Ham, or Prosciutto. This product is just a waste of your money. This is a very reasonable substitute: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082GRFPGJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Disgusting. Rancid. Regret purchase.
I originally rated one star because the meat was rancid. However. I continued cutting more and more taste testing until it finally tasted decent. I shaved off and discarded about 40%, so much meat until I found edible parts. Overall value for this, at least with the Jamon I got, was terrible. I think I would have had to shave significantly less had I gotten the Jamon with bone in

Ham is good, but, likely doesn't need their stand nor knife. Little pricey, imo.
Very pricey. Good product, good flavor. Consistent color, treatment. Very lean. Stand is useless as is knife. But, we were shaving charcutier slices for the holidays and it was convenioent and tastey.

Good value.
The ham is a good value for the price. Make sure you know what you are ordering as it is, by its nature, salty and oily. The wood stand and knife included are a nice touch but not functional with the ham I received.
