This is a beautiful book.
My husband loved this. I got it for his 81st birthday. He has two other atlases and he's got them dog eared. He refers to them all the time. I just knew he deserved a new one and this one was superlative.

Exceeded expectations, and an excellent value!
Our purchase was based in part on great experiences with prior DK publications in travel and guide books. DK has a high quality of photos and maps, and an interesting and organized presentation about things associated with the countries and cities shown on the maps as well as physical geography notes about geology, ocean geography and natural resources. Please note the size of the book. It has about 350 pages, with a format of 11+inches W by 15 inches H and weighs about 6 pounds US. It would have been interesting to me from about 9th grade to present.

Upgraded atlas
As an avid student of geography, I am upgrading from the Reference Atlas (small, handy to carry) to this larger, more detailed atlas. I am proud to own it.
