N'Ice Caps Boys Sherpa Lined Micro Fleece Hat and Mitten Set with Ears (6-15 Months, Navy Infant)

I bought these for my 8.5 month old son for our recent trip to Colorado where it was -12C. I was very happy with them. The cap runs on the small size. Despite being only 8.5months old, our son is more on the bigger side, so the hat only just fit him. He definitely won't get another winter out of it. The hat and gloves are nice and warm and soft. The little "ears" on the gloves are great. They meant that our son could chew on the gloves but his hand were kept warm and dry.The Velcro under the chin worked perfectly, the hat covered his little ears adequately enough and his little head was nice and toasty warm. I would recommend these, but if you want more than one season size up.

I love the hat. It's very cute and warm. However the mittens in the picture show they have thumbs and the ones I received do not have thumbs and it's hard to really use them on my 15 month old.

Fits perfectly. Soft, fluffy and warm. I love the Velcro strap for under my LO’s chin to keep it in place. Also keeps his cheeks warm. I thought the mittens would have thumbs but it’s fine that they don’t.

The fleece part on the top feels rough and kind of polyester touch.

Nice cap, but size goes too big.Ordered 6-15mon size, which actually perfect fit for 24mon kid. Use it a year later, after ordering.

Perfect fit. Love the velcro strap on the hat. The mittens stayed on! Baby was warm and very content in the snow !

There is a nice long piece of Velcro to hold the chin strap in place, which makes it easy to adjust to many sizes as your child grows and difficult for them to pull on and undo. The little ears on the mittens are perfect for chewing on, which keeps him busy since he can't really use his hands for much. They are soft, warm, and well-made. My baby has a large head and hands and these should fit him through the winter (from about 5 months to 1 year of age) the fabric is stretchy so it will grow with him. We get lots of compliments on them wherever we go and he stays nice a warm. It gets 4 stars because the edges of the Sherpa, where it is sewn together inside the gloves and hat, pulls off at first. Once you wash it and get it all off however, there is never another issue and the construction is well-done, it is just the nature of sewing Sherpa that causes this.Edit 2/22/14: I took off a star because about 3 weeks ago, after consistent use, one of the chin straps pulled out of the hat. It was easy to stitch back on. Then yesterday, the other side came off and I will need to stitch it on as well. It's still a great hat and fits like I expected it too but I wanted to update my review since, in a perfect world, it wouldn't need any extra reinforcement.
