Witches Of East End: The Complete Season 2

Love this show. Wish they would do more seasons or re-make.

Pros:1. It reminds you of the very famous Charmed TV show.2. It has a lot of magic in it.Cons:1. They quit, making the show.

The pace for season 2 is a little slower, it doesn't seem to clip along with great thing after great thing. There were times I felt like I was waiting for something to happen, or for them to get to the point I already knew they were heading to. That being said, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this show!!! Phenomenal cast, everyone is a hottie, everyone has acting skills, each character is so well written & portrayed, location shoots are fantastic, guest stars are awesome, storylines great, just awesomeness all around. So why is Lifetime so dang dumb as to cancel it? I will not rest until it has been renewed or picked up by another network!! I would have loved to see them toss in a little more humor, a la Buffy Style, dark humor if need be just to lighten the dark themes a bit. But they did that a little, it just feels like the potential is there for it to happen a little more. Because the characters are so fun, they could crack wise a little more & get away with it. Like Dash, since he's a jerk & difficult to like now, if he made dry, sarcastic but witty remarks, insta-likeability! Like Spike (James Marsters) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, who guest stars, YAY! Also, I'd like to say, they never should have moved filming to Canada for the Gardiner Mansion scenes. Season one, the Gardiner Mansion scenes were filmed in some historical mansion in Macon, Georgia, and they should have stuck with that. Every scene, just about, is in the attic of the mansion in season 2. Yawn. This show had me just as in love with the buildings, as if they were characters! I'm a bit of an architecture freak. :) The Beauchamp Victorian house, shed, and garden - my Dream Happily Ever After House, thank you!!! Lurve it SO MUCH! Ok, that's all, 5 Stars! :)

SON OF A!:)This seems to happen inexplicably to the best of shows. Why is that, world? Why? The first time this happened from my experience was with the show "God, the Devil, and Bob". Then it happened with "Freaks and Geeks". Then, it happened with "Firefly". Then, there was "Pushing Daisies", and "Dead Like Me". The only pattern I can see is the kind of show that's well-written, but perhaps doesn't have enough following at the time of creation...though the following it does have is passionate...because the writers and actors are the kind that put their passion into the show.So, what kills passion? WHAT?! I WANNA KNOW, so I can put a stop to it. My shows... my shows... my shows...

I loved the first season!! I just barely found the 2nd and it was moving along fantastic right after the first. And then it stopped, right in the middle of the script. Nothing is finished. Disappointing 😞

HEADS UP THIS IS AN EXCELLENT SHOW BUT IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. IT'S SO SAD IT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I REALLY BELIEVE IT COULD HAVE GONE AT LEAST 8 SEASONS LIKE CHARMED.....IF NOT LONGER THAN THAT. BUY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED BUT THEY REALLY LEAVE YOU IN A MAJOR CLIFFHANGER THAT WILL NEVER HAVE AN END. WHEN WILL THESE PEOPLE LEARN IF YOU CANCEL A SHOW THIS SOON INTO IT, IT MAY ONLY CREATE BAD ISSUES FOR FUTURE SHOWS. I'M SO SICK & TIRED OF SHOWS BEING CANCELLED SO QUICK. I TOLD MY HUSBAND FROM NOW ON I WILL IGNORE EVERY SHOW UNTIL IT HAS A FULL 3 SEASONS. THEN I WILL BUY IT & WATCH....& IF TO MANY OF US LOSE FAITH LIKE I HAVE, HOW LONG WILL ANY SHOW REALLY RUN? TO THE WRITER.....LOOK FOR ANOTHER CHANNEL & I WOULD BET MY LIFE IT WOULD RUN AT LEAST AS LONG AS CHARMED DID!
