OM SYSTEMOLYMPUS Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens for Olympus Digital SLR Cameras

This lense is great. I just upgraded my camera body and needed lenses to finish the upgrade. It responds well to all I have asked it to do. I have had it about a month and have been out shooting a lot since then. The results are great and any missteps on the results are mine and not the lenses. I will be purchasing another, a macro in the near future and will be looking to buy from this same family of products.

I already knew what this product would be like since I ordered this one as a replacement for my ten year old lens. After years of great service, it began to show spots on some internal lens elements (probably due to my using it in a humid environment.).This has been my favorite lens since I got the original since it encompasses a wide to short telephoto range. It is light, easy to use, and economical.It may not be the finest lens on the market, but you will not find a better one in this price range. And I am able to take photos that get "oohs" and "ahhs"!I'm using this with the Olympus E-510 body. It is a Four Thirds type lens and should fit on any of the "E" or Evolt series of cameras. It will not fit on Micro Four Thirds cameras without an adapter.

Waste of money. Not compatible to my camera and seller does not want it back.

I had broken my old camera lens and had a wedding rehearsal to shoot in less than two weeks! (yikes) I can not tell you how amazed I am at how quickly the shipping was, it arrived in two days with just standard shipping! The lenses design is just a little sleeker and a little more lightweight than the older model. The images I have notices are sharper and better quality. The only bad thing I have to report is that the lens sometimes conflicts with my camera body because it's the original model and the lens is I guess an upgraded version. Be prepare to be frustrated when shooting indoors if your Olympus camera body is still an older model I have a problem with getting the shutter to even shoot or for my flash to shut off but all in all I am pleased and happy with the lens it dose better than my old one and I had no problems shooting outdoors at my cousins wedding rehearsal and the photos came out phenomenal some people even swore the images looked like they belonged in a magazine!

hi! I just got back from a out door trip. and I took this lens. I found it very use full as it act as a kind of wide angle. the picture through this lens were too good specially when the sun light was perfect. it do captures the true colour of the object. The great thing is the this les\ns is super light and focuses the close object and far one to its best.

Purchased Olympus OM-Digital 4/3 lens (not Micro) to use with my Olympus OM-D E10 Mii camera. Had to buy an adapter that takes the OM-D 4/3 to micro 4/3 with the ability to still use the Auto Focus feature for about $30 for the Adapter on E-bay. Waiting for Adapter will update review when possible to results.
