First off thing little thing will ONLY play 7" records, and is also designed to play the little Bandai and RSD3 3" records. Even comes with an adapter for it. You CANNOT play 10" and standard 12" records on this, even though it does have a 33 rpm speed.That aside, this thing is really cute, and has a rugged feel. Plays well off batteries. Sound out of the little speaker is understandably not very good. It does get loud enough, it's just tinny. With headphones inserted into the jack on the top the sound is much improved. Fun to take a stack of old worn 7"s for a spin or maybe take to the record store for crate digging. I don't know who MPK (Music Public Kingdom) is exactly but I've bought a couple of their record players and they're doing a much better job than Crosley at this "vintage-look" cheap record player game.

Very impressed with the record player, so far that is. Works well, killer packaging. Even came with a set of 4 plugs for different international wall sockets. Only area that makes this review 3 stars instead of 4 or 5, there was no promised 45 rpm record adapter included, which is vital as this machine plays only 45s. Though there's a 33 speed (no 78), it's not big enough to accommodate a 12" (or even a 10") LP. Where's the adapter, guys?

Bought it for bringing to friend’s party. Is great. I can extend another speaker by connecting to the hole of earphone. I used AA battery for using like 3 hours playing. Is cool and easy to bring. Be careful with the needle, is important. Good quality and the packing really satisfying.

This record player is advertised as having two speeds 33 RPM & 45 RPM, which it does in fact have! However! What it does not have is enough room for a 33" The record will not fit & cannot play. Do not buy this unless you have a vast collection of 45s~

What a wonderful surprise and a great gift for my friends 4 year old daughter. She also received a few albums too hoot. Pleasantly surprised by its overall quality. Light and fun to use, the sound is the sound don't expect hi-fidelity but for the $ it made a great gift...

It has an option for 33 size records but those records are to big, and a three year broke the top off by trying to open it so it's not worth it...poor quality, but a fair novelty gift to give.
