A gift from the Gods. Oden couldn’t make a better oil drain pan.
When my oil drain pan was demolished by my evil mini me (16 year old son) and stopped catching oil and became more of an Oil distribution pan, I cried. Then I did what every man does and picked up his mighty hammer, raised it above my head and yelled “I will find a replacement”. Off to interwebbs- signed onto Amazon and low and behold there it was. This incredible oil drain pan is worth its size in gold. It’s wide, so if you miss the oil pan you might want to get your eyes checked. When draining the oil, releasing the top screw allows air in and the oil to flow out quickly. Thank you Oden for making such an incredible oil pan. Two thumbs up

Worked well for my 4 cyl Honda Accord oil change
Handled the 4.4 quarts exiting my 2007 Honda Accord 4 cyl easily. Two drain plug openings allow the oil to enter the pan easily with no threat of overspill with my vehicle. Plug openings were just small enough to catch the 17mm oil drain bolt which I dropped in by accident. Not super beefy plastic construction - but does seem sturdy enough to last a few years. Plastic plug openings seem to keep the oil inside - but I'll probably choose not to stand this oil pan up vertically with any used oil inside.

Works well under a GL1800 Goldwing
I used this the other day to drain the oil out of my Honda Goldwing. The height is a bit snug, but it works ok when the bike is on the center stand. It made the job very clean and I was able to drain the oil and put the old oil back in the jug for recycling without spilling any. The pan seems to be fairly sturdy and for my use should last quite a while.

Form and function, but fit (quality) holds it back
revised review; I complained about the threads not matching the plugs well... this hasn;t changed, but the pan is usable and actually I like the "overall" design... if the quality was better I'd rate it a 5, but it's cheap (you get what you pay for) and fot and form suffer, but it functions

Makes changing the oil less messy!
I really like this product. Drain oil into tray/container. Wipe tray and reinstall plug. Put new oil in engine and then you can pour old oil into empty oil container (no funnel needed) and return to store when purchasing oil for next change. Easy peasy!

Good sturdy and all around useful.
Made in the USA! No complaints. This product does what it was made for and does it well! I will buy another if this ever fails.

Looks just like the good drain pan I once owned, but that is where the similarity ends.
UPDATE 2-26-19: As stated in my original review below, I was very scheptical of the longevity of this pan. I did in fact buy some spray-on truck bed liner and coated the bottom and lower sides of the pan with an entire can of the stuff. The bed liner I bought was apparently pretty cheap junk as it didn't help much at all. Despite the slight help from the bed liner coating, the pan has worn through the thin plastic and has since started leaking. Unfortunately when you have to change the oil in your vehicles using ramps, you have to slide the pan out from underneath the vehicle across the ground. I managed to get a whole 8 uses out of it despite being as cautious as possible and minimizing the draging of the pan from under the vehicle. The plastic on the bottom of the pan is just too thin and flimsy to even recommend buying. Original Review: The drain pan looks like the same item I previously owned that ended up getting damaged, but that is where the similarity stops. This one, while looking the same, is NOT nearly as good of quality as my previous pan. The actual area on the top that the oil drains onto has a VERY minimal taper to it, unlike my original. This taper is not going to make for an efficient "funneling" effect to actually get the oil into the pan itself. I can see this having issues with a lot of oil remaining on the top, resulting in the need to wipe it down or suffer with a large mess, when it comes time to empty the pan. The plugs in the drain area of the pan are not going to be of much use either. Either the plugs or the threaded holes in the top of the pan (maybe both) are off, which results in them always going in crooked. You are definitely not going to get any type of seal on these. They will probably be fine for blocking any splash that might happen when moving the pan around, but don't rely on them for much more than that. The plastic quality is not nearly as good either. The top half of the pan seems fairly sturdy. The "lip" around the top edge of the pan feels thick and has very minimal give or flex. The bottom half of the pan seems like they over stretched the plastic in the mold; it has a LOT of give, especially in the corners. I'd say the corners are about the equivalent to a gallon plastic milk jug in strength and flexibility. If you were to drag this across the cement or pavement at all, like when pulling the pan out from under your vehicle after it's full, you can expect that it's not going to last very long at all before it ends up with a hole and starts leaking. I've not yet had the opportunity to make use of this, nor have I leak tested it yet, but I will update the review once I've had that opportunity. I'm seriously considering attempting to coat the bottom of this in something for added strength, before I use it, like truck bed liner or something similar. I'm just not sure how well that would stick to the plastic.

This drain pan is large enough for draining transmissions as well oil changes.
I have one I've used for years and the drain plugs broke. I like this one because its easy pour into my recycling can and its an easy cleanup. My old one lasted for about 20 years.
