Great suit for long torsos!
I bought this suit a year ago - so this review comes after much use.I purchased a size 10 long. I have a very long torso - but I am not particularly tall. At the time of the order I weighed 130 pounds and am 5'7" tall. The suit fit well. i have since lost 15 pounds and the suit it a little loose - probably from wear on the fabric as well as the weight loss.I swim on 3-4 times per week outside and rinse the suit in clean water after my swim. I rarely washed the suit. It held up very well. It needs replacement now because it has gotten thin in the backside and there are some runs in the fabric near the arm holes. I have historically had a great deal of difficulty finding one piece suits that fit - this one is one of the only ones. I believe the size 10 was a size up or so in order to get additional length (the suit was not super tight when new). If you are particularly tall I would recommend going up one suit size in order to have additional length. The front is fully lined and there is an unlined shelf bra. If you regularly swim laps this is a good performance suit. It does not have pads in the chest area. In terms of comparison to less expensive suits, the construction of the interior of the suit and the sewing is better - more durable and the quality of the fabric is very good. The suit has been the first comfortable one-piece bathing suit that I have ever had and I am reordering now because I have been so happy with this product. Highly recommend!

Poor quality material. Suits don’t last.
Last four bathing suits didn’t last a month. Within one week black suits turn to a molten gray. I swim 5 days a week and am I the pool 2 1/2 hours a day, first the suit discolors within 7 - 8 days and then it falls apart within a month. I rinse my suits and soak in cold water for a few hours after each swim and air dry, I have asked others if their other brand suits discolor and fall apart like mine and they say no they last at least 6 months. I have bought Speedo exclusively since 2015 and past few years quality has gone down, they don’t last like they use to. If you swim regularly this is not a good investment.

I kept it and it fits, I wish the legs were a little less modest
This suit performs perfectly. It remains flat on my body except one spot: the butt. The legs are so “modestly” cut that they actually wrinkle around the bottom of the back end.The suit is extremely high quality and durable which made that one flaw worth keeping it. I did accidentally get a “tall” which I’m not, so since I wanted to go swimming and it fit okay, I’m keeping it. The suit is nice and heavy weight with a lovely dark black liner. No bust support other than a very light shelf bra so if you want anything more than that, keep looking. I do find that it’s easy to swim in, although it is hard to get off once it’s wet. I think this would be a versatile suit to use for a triathlon if you’re not looking for too much chest support. I use it strictly for lap swimming in a pool and it works great for that. I have now worn it at least a dozen times for lap swims, and it has not faded at all (I do use Suit Soak wash after I swim every time, rinsing it in the sink and let it air dry). This is not my favorite suit, as the racer back does cut in a little and make some rolls that are a little unsightly, but it performs great and is exactly as I had expected a speedo to function. Swims well and doesn’t gap anywhere even while swimming hard.

Great quality, modest lap swimming suit.
This is a great modest suit for lap swimming. So many suits for lap swimming come up so high on the legs, or down so low in the back, that if you’re older and not as confident in your body shape as you used to be, this is the suit you want.

A suit of a different color
When I first received this swimsuit, I was delighted. I had never ordered a suit by mail or online before -- had always tried previous suits on in stores -- and it was gratifying to learn that I could obtain a high-quality, affordable suit that fit me so well "off the rack" -- better yet, "off the Web," sight unseen, with no try-on. The suit was my first Speedo: an established, esteemed name in swimwear for leisure swimmers and professionals alike -- and I was delighted with it overall. This suit was never put to any rigorous or demanding tests. Over a 10-month period, I wore it, at most, three times a week -- and then, exclusively for a 45-minute Arthritis Foundation class in aquatics, consisting of gentle water exercises in a lukewarm, impeccably maintained pool at the first nationally accredited medical fitness center in our state. It was a swimsuit that never swam a single lap, in fact, but merely took an occasional sedate dip. It never visited our local Great Lake, for instance, let alone any ocean. It did experience an occasional ten-minute sojourn in the fitness center's well-maintained whirlpool. I was scrupulous in following the care instructions, washing it only by hand, with no other garments, in temperate water and gentle soap, then promptly setting it out to dry in a well-lit room (since the instructions caution against drying it in the shade).Within a few months, however, I got a quite a shock. My snappy navy blue Speedo was rapidly losing its color!-- this despite the fact that it had been advertised as chlorine-protected or chlorine-resistant. By June or July, although I attempted to remain in a state of denial and rationalization ("Well, the point is fitness -- who cares what anyone else looks like in a bathing suit?"), I was deeply disappointed, not to mention embarrassed. I found it harder and harder to attend aquatics regularly. It was time to replace the dud, but my finances had been hit hard by the economic crisis and additional setbacks in my family. (I didn't think to ask Santa for an attractive new bathing suit; he brought me a much-appreciated Best Buy gift card and some tasty Belgian chocolates. And no, I did not consume said chocolates anywhere in the vicinity of my now-brownish suit.) I balked at the prospect of springing for a whole new suit after wearing this one in such a limited way.But the time has come, and I must now begin all over -- initiate anew the whole massive research effort that went into my ultimate selection of this spiffy Speedo which soon let me down so badly. Let's face it, my one and only bathing suit, although my former pride and joy, has deteriorated into a pretty strange semblance of its former self. It's now irregularly two-tone: Primarily a muddy brown, but with large, bilateral patches, front and back, of a very faded blue, and areas of nearly navy blue on the straps morphing into muddy brown in places. My classmates go through their paces at the same time I do -- same pool, same conditions -- but their many and varied suits (plain, patterned, flamboyantly floral; hailing from Target, Nordstrom, Macy's, Land's End) retain their original colors month in and month out. I seem to have the only Speedo, and the only color-shifter, in the class. I will say one thing for the color(s) of my eccentric suit: the Speedo logo, low on the front righthand thigh, remains crisp, bright white. Whatever chlorine resistance was promised for this suit, it was definitely incorporated in the logo. The rest of the garment, alas, looks like the veteran of a deep, long dip in a vat of some permanent pigment which could aptly be dubbed "Mudpie."I've given this suit a few stars for its good fit, excellent construction and durability, flattering style, and sleek suitability for free motion of any kind in water. But beware its chameleon-like nature! If you should order a Speedo anything like this one, and if you like your bathing suit to retain much of its original color over time, you may love this item out of the box -- but you will not be a happy camper for long.

Runs very small
Good quality, however sizing seems to be off. According to the size chart, a 28 should’ve fit perfectly. However, I couldn’t even pull it up my butt. The torso length also seemed very short. Definitely not stretchy enough to accommodate the measurements listed in the size chart.
