Read this book. If you love nature or don’t it’s worth your time.
Profound and deeply reverent to the natural world and insightful around humanness. Scott Stillman has a way of writing the words that are written on my heart about experiences in nature and wilderness. If you’re wishing you could go hiking or backpacking read his book it’ll inspire you to go, if you are backpacking and hiking read it anyway because it will make you fall more deeply in love with the reason why you Chose to sleep in a tent in the beautiful outdoors in the first place.

Worth your time
First book by Scott Stillman I have read. Found it interesting and informative. I liked Stillman's writing enough that I went on line and bought his other book.

Transcends me to reality
I have said for some time that when I need to feel something real, I must go be in nature. This book resonates and I feel so aligned with its beautiful message. I can’t wait to encourage family members and friends to read this and feel as centered as I do right now upon completing it…in one night by the way. Simply loved it. Think I’ll go for a walk in the woods this weekend.

I didn’t connect the same as with his 1st book.
It’s a decent read if you haven’t read his first book. The first book was amazing and I was incredibly excited for more from Mr. Stillman. This one fell flat. It feels rushed, almost like it’s just some notes thrown together. Preachy and repetitive. I can’t recommend his 1st book enough, but this one will be handed off without a second thought.

A Poetic Nomad
This is the second book I have enjoyed form this author - the way in which he expresses his pontifications and deeper thoughts, all while painting a perfect picture that you can see in your minds eye.Specially if you have been to the same places. He captures it perfectly. Poetic Nomad is about the best way I can describe it...
