Replacement Sponge for Hydro V

Great for developing filtration bacteria that can feed baby fish. Holds up to fairly strong water pressure pulled by wave-agitator or undergravel-filter type pumps, eventually become clogged or the plastic degrades and loses foam structure so they start collapsing and crushing, but that takes some years to happen.

It's an okay sponge but not very durable for reuse.

Works perfectly. Last about 3-4 years before the sponge starts to break down. A little bulky eating up a lot of space in the tank, but works great.

Spong is replacing an old one. I like these and it helps my aquarium. It looks just like my old one.

good merchant. fast ship. product works well, be sure to squeeze air out of sponge when putting in aquarium for best results.

The quality of the replacement sponge seems very good: dense but lightweight.It is quite big, so check your dimensions first.I didn't use it yet, but I'm confident that will work for my purpose. And the price was great.
