This fits inside the cast iron bell. Works perfectly!

Its a quality made piece, but the listing is inaccurate.
This will NOT fit the ID of a 4" cast iron pipe. It will however fit the cast iron bell mouth fitting for cast iron pipe, which is larger than 4" pipe. The 3" sched PVC pipe does fit the ID of the bushing perfectly.

if you're looking at this, you know you have no other options
This rubber poo ring is the only solution to the problem so you might as well dive in. If you place it in a bucket with warm water for a short while before installing, the rubber softens enough to push the 3" pipe in with ease.

It doesnt leak.
It is a very tight fit. No poop has leaked from the seams. It has held up very well.

WOW!! This thing saved me a ton!!
I don't normally give reviews, but I had to let every potential user of these that they are a life saver. I have attached a pic before and after of the 4" cast iron to 3" pvc completed project. I was needing a 3" take out for an added bathroom. (pardon the bag...)THX FERNCO!!!
