DONT NOT BUY!! WILL DAMAGE YOUR WALL/DOOR!!
I've had this up for about a week now. While it works well when up and holds my weight nicely when doing pulls ups, I went to move it to a new spot and the pads on the side ripped off the paint on my walls!!! Not only that the pads themselves came off from the bar too. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you plan on using it in a spot where you don't care if the walls get damaged. Now I have to repaint those spots.

Great pull up bar for homes
I ordered this since my small gym didn't have a pull up bar. I live in a rented apartment so didnt want to screw any holes to install a new bar. This worked perfectly for my needs. It solely works by applying pressure on both sides of the wall and remains stuck to it.Just make sure not to try this on a drywall itll break it. but it works great if fixed on a door frame. There are locks on both sides which prevent the bar from rotating and unwinding once fixed. Also hand foam handles for hand positions which are easy to grip onThe instructions that came with it weren't in a clear English but it's easy to figure out how to fix it. Apart from that this bar is awesome. Really like it

Great pull up bar & great customer service!
The bar is an interesting design. The more force you put on it, the tighter it holds. You may notice the rubber pads sticking to the wall with all the force, but they're easily placed back on the bar.NOTE: Make sure that your doorframe can handle the sideways force.I've been putting it midrange on the door to do reverse rows and now there's an indentation on one side.Luckily I have a metal doorway in my complex so I'll try it there and see.Doorframes are normally framed to support weight top to bottom, not sideways, so this will probably work better toward the top or bottom of the doorframe. It still works better than the bars that hang off the top part of the doorframe.I had an issue with the 1st one I purchased not being able to extend after a certain point. When I contacted the seller to let them know, they sent another one right away! Great customer service! Not to mention I received a reply within 10 minutes of writing the email!

Perfect for doorways that won't allow typical doorframe pull-up bars
My current residence's doorways don't fit the typical doorframe pull-up bars, the doorways being too thick and the frame piece being too wide/thick. I tried an"adjustable" one on Amazon, but apparently it's no longer made and the company substituted a cheaper, non-adjustable one.Luckily, I then found this gem. Many other non-doorframe pull-up bars have to be screwed into your doorway. This one is much better. Just unscrew the ends a bit, until the rubbery grips touch the frame. Then twirl the middle of the bar and BAM, it fits perfectly. Add on the screw latches and your good to go. You can remove/replace the bar in under 5 minutes.I currently weigh 205 pounds and the bar feels rock solid.

Do Not Buy - Damaged Wooden Door Frame
UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH: After using it for couple of weeks, it started damaging one side of my wooden door frame. Now I'm left with a cracked door frame. Moreover, the gel pad won't come off the door frame without peeling off the paint!

As advertised. UPDATE: no good
UPDATEThis thing kept popping out my door molding, even though the door is quite sturdy. The last straw was when the brace kept falling down to the "dangerous" line. I do German hangs and other stuff, and don't want to risk breaking my neck when going upside down. If you don't have a super sturdy doorway, I wouldn't recommend this.ORIGINAL MESSAGEI almost gave this thing four stars because it moves and I've never experienced that before, but the reality is that I bought this thing because you don't need to screw it in, and it was cheap. I've only worked out on it once so far, and did a standard pull-ups (wide and narrow grip), german hangs, etc. It moved a bit, which, although new to me and somewhat unpleasant, is exactly how it's designed. Also, this movement can be avoided if you control yourself go super slow (and thereby avoid acceleration/deceleration forces). One thing to be wary of: this cracked the top corners of the molding on the door. Maybe I tightened it too much (but not enough to keep it from moving as designed), not sure. I thought the door to my apartment was very sturdy, but this caused small cracks in the joints. Nothing huge, and I suspect it won't even be noticeable when I move out.

Great pull-up bar
The product arrived on time and seems to be of great quality. I was looking for a bar that I could install in a bedroom doorway, still be able to close the door, and not have to drill holes. The few other similar products I found on amazon seemed like the may be too wide. After installing, it seemed like it would stay in place and was very sturdy. However, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when doing a pull-up, if I exert a lot of force towards me and not just a downward force, the bar did slide forward a little. Not sure if I just need to reinstall it just a little tighter but the bar does seem secure and the wedges on both sides came down as they should. Received the product only a few days ago and have used for one workout so far, so I will update this review in a few weeks. For now I will say the pull-up bar is a quality product, just be sure to install and use correctly or it could be extremely dangerous if the bar comes out.Update 7/10/2019 - I just wanted to clarify what I meant by the wedge mechanisms sliding forward. On my third set of pull-ups, I felt the bar move just a little and saw it was no longer straight. I am attaching two pictures, one where the bar is straight and sitting against the wood, and one where you can see that the top has slightly moved away from the wood and is no longer straight.Update 7/31/2019 - I have been using the pull-up bar carefully, without any rotational force, and it has stayed in place. I use it 3 times a week. Giving 5 star rating

Nice design in theory
While working on the initial width adjustments I noticed that the pads on the end were leaving black marks on my door frame even with light pressure. Despite that, I got it mounted at the top of the door to try it out. After putting about half my weight on the bar I discovered a crack had formed at the top of the frame. Nice design in theory, but this one is going back.

Minimum 37" door frame size required
It might be a good product, but some genius decided to make 37" the minimum required door frame size.So pay attention, 37" is not the minimum size it extends TO, but where it starts from.Given the majority of door frames are smaller than 35", at least half the potential market is lost. Smart.

Sturdy Bar but annoying to move.
Bar is great quality and comes with everything advertised. Even a couple extra nuts and bolts in case you lose the set that are with the anti-slip locks.Even though the manufacturer packaging came inside an amazon box, the original packing was still damaged and looked like it had been tossed around. Not in a gift-able condition, if that is concerning. Product itself was not damaged though.Instructions were basic and it was not clear how to attach the anti-slip locks but I figured it outAfter getting frustrated trying to line it up properly as a pull-up bar, I installed it at the bottom of my door frame. It felt secure when I pulled on it and did a couple sit-ups. However, it advertises using it at different heights so you can do push-ups, leg stretches and pull-ups, but it is so tedious to move. You have to have the Allen key handy to losen and tighten the anti-slip locks and as you are tightening the whole bar, the grey wedge mechanisms turn and need to be adjusted so they are vertical. It’s not quick by any means. So all in all, it is a very sturdy bar and once installed, works great. But if you plan to move it for different exercises, it’s tedious and can be frustrating.

Product is sturdy just not for regular door frames
Product is sturdy and has a smart design BUT this is not good for a regular doorway. It started cracking and pushing apart my doorframe toy bedroom. That crack is actually a lot wider than what the picture shows because I took the bar out. But when I was doing pull-ups it would get worse and worse everyday. I only way 155. Not like I'm 200 or something.

Ok product but not portable as it may seems
Plastic at edges *is* really cheap dont be fooledI tought it would be easily portable or to change height but don't get fooled! It's as annoying to install as any other bar though it's true that you wont need screw, but screws at least assure you the bar is well aligned if you measured well; with this one, its alot of trial-and-errorotherwise ok bar

Fits doorframe and allows door to close
+ Fits doorframe on one side (allows door to close on the other side)+ Supports weight well, design of sliding blocks is a genius but ensure installation is parallel to distribute force evenly+ Recommend for solid doorframes

Sturdy and strong
You dont need screws to install this pull up bar which is AMAZING. And i feel like the harder you pull the bar the more stable it is. You can use it and remove it right away after using. Stick it o the wall and bam! you can use it right away. I mainly use it for ab workout like hanging leg raised and back pull ups. But ofcourse you can also use it for chip ups and other excercises involving a pullup bar without a problem. Im 170lbs and no problem with it!

Sturdy and easy to install
Super easy to install, had it on in a matter of minutes. The other types of pull up bars do not work for my door frame, so this one was perfect !I didn't want to drill holes in the frame and this one allows you to extend and clamp it on super easily. It is quite sturdy and does not slip. I use it for bar hangs every morning (I'm 186 lbs) and have not had any issues with it damaging my door frame or slipping.

Convenient
I bought a pull up bar before and what I like about this is that you can leave it hanging in the door and use whenever, where you have to take that one off when you need to close the door. I didn't face any problems with it, installation took some time but not difficult. The only thing I'd recommend is to make the handles a bit wider because if you look at the video my hand placement was a but narrow. Btw if your door frame isn't that strong then it will make some sounds but that didn't affect anything.

Easy installation with no damage to the door frame
Installation is really easy and this no time, no damage to the door frame. My 5 yo loves it and always wants to jump up and measure the amount of time he can use it in one go. I hope he gets enough exercise to help him grow taller

Fits most Canadian doors.
I live in a semi detached house and the doors are the standard size by builder. My door is about 31” and fitment is sturdy and i liked how easy the installation was without complications. After i have fully extended it, im about 85kgs and it took my weight. Didnt fall which made me happy.

Very sturdy and safe, a must have for your home
This thing is awesome. I love the wedge design and am surprised more companies don't do this. As you put your weight on the bar, the wedge exherts force upwards and into the door frame, so you don't need to worry about the bar falling off! Amazing design and easy to install, no additional tools needed, just prop up and go.

Love it
This product is amazingI’ve been using pull ups since I was a kid and I’ve never seen a design like this onesI used it in both apartment and house and it all worked fine. Even flimsy wooden frames easily withstand me and extra 20 pound vestLove it

It breaks your door
The idea is good but this bar is not rigid at all. I am 260 and i had concerns if it would hold me due to the bar flexing whoch causes it to loosen on the door frame. Also this product will break the trim on your door.
