Only cut through thin glitter vinyl without major ordeal. If you want to cut through 651 vinyl or anything thicker you must troubleshoot and change settings on a computer. Can’t do that with a phone or iPad. Must own a computer for this machine to work right. My research before purchase didn’t tell me that, however I didn’t specifically ask. To me, it’s an overpriced, plastic piece of crap. No wonder why it comes with so much to make it more appealing. Very disappointed.
