Definitely a useful reference book with a lot of valuable information in an easily digested and complete format. Author Andy Rathbone is definitely worth the price of this book as a vital help to understanding and using Windows 10. Good price, bought used but was like new, fast ship ... Windoes 10 is updated almost daily, but the book doesn' change. It is useful only temporarily

So I bought the bullet and switched over to windows 10. I’m very happy I bought this book because my new computer didn’t come with any type of set up manual and I’m pissed at DELL because of this. This book took me through the set up process and actually explained to me what the ONE DRIVE was all about. I’m really glad about this because I would have had a lot of headaches without it. I’ve been a Microsoft and Apple user for years but just simply haven’t kept up because everything was simply intuitive. I’m an older guy and hav been using Apple products since the very late 70’s. Then using some microsoft stuff (because of Word and Power Point) for years. Windows 10 is very different from the “old days” where everything was intuitive. This book has saved my butt on more than one occasion. If you are new to Windows 10 then this book is for you and me and everybody else.

I bought this book as used. It looks new to me. Not a scratch or mark. Happy with condition. Will reserve my thoughts after I read and use the information.

I was a little disappointed with this "for Dummies" book, it's more about how to find and use the stuff MS wants you to use. They selling their cloud. I was looking for documentation about those things you could do with Win 10, if only you knew they existed. Win 10 was a big disappointment for me. The only computer I have purchased in the past 25 years. with no documentation, and just lots of pop up commercials, to buy subscriptions for their little helpers that should have been included in the price of the software. But that's just me. I've been using Win 7 over 10 years now, and with Mr. Karp's "Win 7 Annoyances", I could make Win 7 work for me, instead of me work for MS.

First of all, I am not computer savvy in the slightest. I had lost all this information on my computer and had no idea how to retrieve it. I almost gave up trying to find it, but I bought this book. I literally figured it out in minutes it seemed. Since then I know just about everything about my computer. Lifesaver!

I had never been a `fan of the "DUMMIES" books. I had attempted to use them before and found they were hard to read and harder to use as a reference. "WINDOWS 10 for Dummies" (W10D) is the complete opposite. W10D was bought at the insistence of a good friend after having difficulty working with WIN10 during the set-up of a new desktop computer. I have finally learned how simple it is to have two screens side-by-side on my monitor. Something I had tried to do for years on at least 6 previous desktops. That is just one example of the minor items I have learned to conquer after they had become such problems for me. Thank you "WINDOWS 10 for Dummies"
