Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum, Clear

Very happy with this product and am glad to get it as it is always sold out at the store. I have used this on my eyebrows, lashes and temple. My eyebrows grow quite a lot faster using this. I noticed that I will have about a 10th of them just go crazy a few are stubborn and the rest just grow a bit faster. Now on my lashes it works but slower then my eyebrows. If I leave my waterproof mascara on too long or take a nap without removing the mascara I will get lash breakage of or fall out more then usual. This helps them and gives them a boost. A wile back I had a stressful job situation along with sick family members so I had some hair fall out with a noticeable receding hairline on my upper side temples. I applied this for a couple of months in that area and my hair came back. So just as a added help just in case I also have a separate one that I apply to that area every so often. No noticeable bad smell and does not irritate my eyes at all. If you apply an abundance it will look a little flaky later in that area, Most of it will soak in but a bit will dry on top. Very happy camper and luv this product.

Ok I waited for three weeks to write this review!!! I can't believe it this works!!! I started out using Rapid Lash and it was working very well. I saw the reviews on this and the great price and decided to take a chance. I.am so glad I did!! I agree with other reviews that it is gloppy. It does leave a residue on your eyebrows and lashes but who cares. It wipes off easily in the morning. My lashes are super full omg long and have a healthy shine to them. Also I am growing in my eyebrows and am having great results too. I can't believe this costs only 7 dollars!! I am a make up lotion and potion woman. I have two bathrooms and a hall closet full of beauty products. This is in my medicine cabinet with my other favorite beauty items. I will be purchasing this again!! Great product for a great price that really really works. I have two friends that have bought this and are getting results as well. So so happy.

So far, I have only used this once, cause I had some left over from other products used in the past i.e. RL, my only issue with these products is that they are drying on the eye lids which produces whitish scaled skin flaking off, and my eyes gets very itchy. I have to put some Vaseline on the eyelids afterwards in order to offset the dryness. The price is so much better than i.e. RL and the other brand name I tried before, but they basically do the same, which is adding "nutrition" to the eyelashes, which helps them grow faster. The products actually don't "make" them grow by itself, and that is why many don't see results right away, because eyelashes grow in spurts and you have to "hit it" at the right time, in order for the lashes to respond, so it can take months before you see results.

I've used this off and on for a few years and it will definitely help to make your lashes look longer and thicker and be less prone to breaking off. I haven't noticed a huge difference with it on my brows, but if you tend to use a lot of brow products that might be damaging them, drying them out or causing loss with the removal process, this may help them as well.Only a prescription product will actually cause growth, but this does a great job of making it look like your lashes grew fuller and longer over time because it keeps them from breaking. I really notice it on my left side because I tend to sleep on that side and was breaking lashes off from friction/pressure against the pillow.I don't find the wand difficult to use and one dip into the product is enough to do both eyes (upper and lower lashes) and both brows. You really don't need a lot of it. I do my brows first with the brush and then do the lashes without dipping the wand into the product again because then when trying to apply to the lashes closest to the inner corner, you won't get it on your nose.I have not found that mascara goes on well over this so I use it at night. If I don't plan to wear mascara, I'll also use it during the day. If you don't over-apply it, it's not noticeable on the lashes as it will dry clear.There's no scent and I have never found it irritating to my skin or eyes.

Lashes growth

I am shocked! I really didn’t think I would see a difference with this and I wish I had taken a before and after picture, because I know for me pictures mean a lot when it comes to a beauty review so I apologize I don’t have any. I naturally have short, and fragile eyelashes. They fall out A LOT because I have extremely dry eyes and I have to take special eye drops that don’t always help alleviate my discomfort. I’m bad and will rub my eyes out of desperation and as a result I had a bald patch in the center of my right eye (I wish I had a picture). The bald patch was even more noticeable if I wore mascara. Wearing mascara feels like someone dumping piles a hay into my eye. Anyway, I decided to give this a try. After maybe a week or two of using it my mom actually made a comment about how my eyelashes looked longer. I noticed that eyelashes looked longer before she said anything, but her comment sealed the deal that this stuff really makes a difference! However, I don’t think this stuff makes them look thicker or gives you more lashes (I don’t know if that is even possible? Lol). It does make them longer! The only thing I don’t like is the brush. It is like a tiny paintbrush and I wish it was more like a mascara wand. It is very easy to accidentally glop a whole bunch on. It’s not a big deal though. When I first started using it it took some getting used to because it would irritate my eyelids a lot. Now it doesn’t bother me at all. To save money I don’t use it every day now and I have maintained my results! I use it 1-2 nights a week to save money and the tube has lasted me for months! The other nights I use plain castor oil in a empty mascara tube. Saves a lot of money!
