First impression, impressive!
Very happy to have bought this in the Black Friday sale. Excellent price. I've only used the wide paddle brush so far, and my hair looks really good! Very easy and quick, too. I struggle to keep my fine and frizzy-ish hair looking good after initial drying, and try to avoid straighteners if I can, and this worked a treat. Took on board what many of the reviews said about over heating, so I'm using the cooler option on almost dry hair. Very pleased so far, and hoping the other styling parts work just as well, but if not, I'm happy with the results at the Black Friday price.

Easy to use and lightweight
I have waist length hair but I also have a host of chronic pain issues that make drying my hair either impossible or painful and draining. Styling isn’t an option most of the time. I purchased this for £37! Bargain.Pros:1- lightweight , my arms didn’t even hurt2- Super fast drying, about 1/4-1/3 faster than usual3- Good range of attachments and heat proof glove4- lots of volume and soft hairCons: (if you’re m being very nitpicky)1- gets very got, but use the glove and it’s no issue unless you drop it2- yes, the curling wand isn’t as easy as an actual wand may be but with practice I think it’ll be good and it does workAll in all, 4/5 , it would be 5/5 but I got a good price and £75, while still great, isn’t affordable for me. It is NOT an air wrap guys, that’s why it’s not £600 🤣 but it’s a flipping good hair styling bit of kit. If you’re hairdryer is on the outs, do yourself a favour and get this instead, it works better than a dryer and you get all the bonuses!

N9ce hair styler
Brilliant hair styler!!!!Easy to use, I either blow mine straight instead of using straightners which make my hair look flat and limp, or put little wavy curls through my hair, they stay in quite well.Only problem is that I think it's damaged my hair as you can see lots of split ends sticking up under the light after I've used it..... its a shame but I just use it occasionally now and the last few strokes I go over the hair to blow all the split ends down instead of putting this under the hair and blowing them all up so the stick out lolMy hair was already damaged before I started using this so I can't blame it

At last, a hair styler I can use!
I'm really bad at hair. Can't do it. I'm autistic with dyspraxia and spacial awareness issues and I simply cannot manage the dexterity needed for these hair tools and I can't translate what I'm seeing in the mirror to what my hands are doing! I have spent a fortune on various implements for styling hair over the years and with one exception, they have all ended up given away or gathering dust in a box.I got one of these for a friend for Christmas and she insisted that I'd be able to use it - bear in mind, all I want out of life is a tidy bob style - I'm not ambitious!.So with yet another triumph of hope over experience, I purchased it.SUCCESS!It's chunky enough for me to hold without dropping it without being too heavy and the large brush just makes the bob happen with very little input from me. If I use the regular brush, it dries straight and smooth and drying my hair only takes a few minutes. For someone who has more hairstyling skills, I'm betting you could do a lot more fancy stuff, but I'll take the win!100% recommend

Very lightweight and easy to use but heats up too much
I have long frizzy curly hair which is not very thick. I have had the revlon one step before which worked great at smoothing my hair but found it too heavy it would give me an arm ache. This is lightweight but feels quite flimsy, it is easy to use however the bristles on both brushes are too thin and separated to hold my hair and create tension for a smooth finish. Also, only the highest setting worked for me which was so hot - burnt my scalp and my hands, it’s too hot too touch even after switching off (I didn’t use the gloves provided). I sent back for a refund. I also looked into reviews deeper and a lot say the product over heats and stops working after a month. I would spend a little more for something else of better quality.

A bit disappointed
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, maybe I need a better technique, but this is leaving my hair still slightly frizzy instead of smoothed and silky. I have straight, medium-length hair that tends toward frizz if I leave it to air-dry naturally, but can be smooth and silky if styled correctly.I'm disappointed because I'd been excited to get this styler/dryer. The choice of different attachments interested me, and I had expected to get a smooth result from both the paddle brush, and the round brush with the metal lining under its bristles. The round brush does a better job at smoothing than the paddle brush. However, the round brush grips my hair TOO much so that it's hard to pull it through the hair following wrapping it around even just a little. The paddle brush leaves my hair still frizzy even though I apply tension to my hair while pulling the brush through. I'm just disappointed at the not very smooth results. I got a better smoothness using the Babyliss "Big Hair" which has a rotating brush - the rotation seemed to add a "polishing" effect to the hair cuticles, it seemed like. But mine slowed down and even cleaning it inside didn't fix, so I bought this dryer instead, no rotation but I'd hoped it would be good. But I'm now thinking of just getting another rotating brush. This dryer styler is not completely useless, and people with not much frizz to combat will probably be well served by it and be very happy. If your hair is already quite naturally smooth to start with, this will probably do a great job for you.But even my slight level of frizz is not really helped by this styler, so I'm not really 100% thrilled with it.
