Retrospec Bicycles Urban/Fixed Gear Saddle

Surprisingly comfortable after a day or two of breaking my butt in. I wouldn't use it on a century ride, but it works great for commuting 15 miles at a go around the city. The price point is hard to beat, and it requires no maintenance. The color has not faded with several months of use. Water wipes off easily and does not soak into the saddle (or my bottom). Recently tore the side of the saddle through careless use of sharp object, but the saddle continues to work fine -- there is no gel or foam oozing out as I have seen with other saddles.

It's a simple, cheap seat. It's hard. Personally, I really hate having any kind of padding on my seat and it seems like all of the most popular ones have an inch of foam. My first couple rides with it were kinda uncomfortable, but after I got used to it I really like it. I just did ~30 miles on my fixie with this seat with no sore-butt issues and am buying another on to put on my road bike.It seems pretty durable too, I've been doing about 45 minutes a day with it for the last several months and it still seems basically brand new. Water doesn't soak into the seat material, so it's great if you leave your bike out in the rain.If you're looking for a harder seat, this is the way to go. It's cheap, durable and really comfortable.

I bought this saddle for my new Trek bike as the saddle it came with was so uncomfortable. I don't know why the stock seats for most bikes hurt like heck. I thought this would look cool on my bike and the reviews were pretty glowing. When it arrived i was pretty skeptical about comfort because it looked pretty thin. I got the hot pink color and it doesn't disappoint. The seat is actually REALLY comfortable. I went on a 2 hour ride and my butt didn't hurt at all afterwards. It's a great seat for the price. Thinking of ordering another in a different color I liked it so much!

I needed a yellow seat for a mountain bike, so as to match my yellow pedals and grips. This seat isn't terribly heavy. It's not the most or least comfortable seat in the world. I rode it for12 or so road miles, it wasn't all that bad. I wouldn't want to spend all day on it, but it would definitely be fine for mountain biking if you're not constantly sitting down.

I really like this saddle. I'm sure when it comes to saddles you have a lot of choices. Personally, this saddle has been great, the design fits my biking performance, its sleek & not bulky. The comfort is just right for my rides, its not too comfy nor too hard either, its just right. To top it all off, you can't beat the price! They come in a variety of colors and I was so tempted to get the white saddle, but I decided to go with the black to match my bikes color scheme. The material can handle a lot of weather and it looks good to. Truthfully, I have nothing but pros for this product. If for whatever reason, you get it and aren't satisfied, you only lost a few bucks. I just don't see how you can go wrong with this one. Unless you want something with a lot of comfort than I suggest getting another type of saddle, but if you want something that's comfy, yet handles road biking performance (agility, speed, long distance, various road conditions...) than this saddle will do the job and then some.

I ride an old Raleigh Capri 410 road bike from the 80's. For the longest time, I used the stock sadle which was made of molded plastic. If you can imagine, riding more that a mile in that starts to get very uncomfortable. When I decided to replace it, I was looking for something that would be durable, comfortable, and good looking. This bike saddle meets all three things. It has withstood the rain and sun without cracking. It does not make me sore after long rides. And it is a great price. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Using this on a road bike, and wasn't expecting the level of comfort that I got. Sure, you may get a very minor saddle sore after 40+ miles, but that's probably more due to position/sweat than the saddle itself. The saddle is sleek and well-made, and I've had no issues with the material bleeding, ripping, tearing, etc. When the time comes for a replacement, I'll hope this is still in production.

comfortable for my rear end. been riding with it for almost a month now and i have no complaints. looks great and rides smooth. can't expect more for the price. i recommend to any fixie rider.
