Well balanced top aligns nicely and the strainer looks very high quality. Beautiful color. Keeps tea hot long enough for you to drink it.

Strainer could be deeper
Overall it's ok, strainer could be deeper towards the bottom so you don't have to fill as much to infuse the tea...wish I would've gotten a bit smaller one as this is 590 ml and the typical kyusu is 200-300 ml

Great Tea Pot
Great tea pot. Nice color. Holds 2-3 servings of tea at time. Very happy with the purchase

Not packaged correctly
As others have commented, they shipped this CERAMIC teapot in an empty box with zero packing material.The handle was broken off the teapot and the strainer was so smashed it was partially ripped away from the metal frame. Looks fine for what it is; cheap teapot, product of China.

Leaks.
I love this Kyusu for how much tea it holds. A lot of Kyusu are too small for the traditional wise base they are known for to let your tea steep, but the lid is too small for it and so it leaks pretty easily. I have to pour it very slowly compared to my other Kyusu pot I got from nio teas which pours without that problem.
