Gold Bond6" All Futon Mattress, Natural, Full, Natural

I bought this exact same SIX INCH THICK Gold Bond futon several years ago in Hawaii and I loved it. Really good for my back. So when I moved to the mainland I ordered it over again. I ordered the SIX INCH Futon becuz it supports my back and double bed sheets fit it perfectly.THIS ONE IS NOT EVEN THREE INCHES THICK!!! A total rip-off. The first one was so thick it could not possibly be rolled up. It was shipped & arrived flat out, in a bag. It was thick, firm and solid.This one came rolled up tight and shrink wrapped. You can't possibly roll up a six inch thick, solid cotton batting futon. The whole cover on this one is very baggy. The batting is so thin my bones can feel the bed frame through it. This one is useless. And becuz it arrived rolled up and shrink wrapped instead of open and flat, I cannot possibly put it back together, to return. I am just screwed. Very unhappy with this product!!

Gold Bond is normally a very good mattress. The one I had before last double what they say the life is. However I was sold a damaged one from this seller.

It's getting more difficult to find futons that are filled with 100% cotton these days. I wanted a traditional futon, not one with coils or polyester fill. This one is comfortable, of good quality, and affordable.

I am so pleased with this purchase! The futon mattress is well made and exactly to dimensions. It is replacing an old, lumpy mattress (second-hand from a friend) on a futon that we use for guests. I will be happy to offer guests this bed -- comfy for a few nights, but not so comfy so they want to stay forever (LOL). People who find futon sleeping comfortable every night will surely not be disappointed in this all cotton mattress.

Measured it after receiving it and it was not as thick as was listed in the description. Not only was there not enough 'stuffing', the measurement of the side walls of the mattress would never allow this to be 6", even if one 'fluffed' the mattress. After this experience I don't recommend people who need an all cotton futon mattress greater than 4" thick to have anything shipped as they need to be rolled, which means the manufacturer will necessarily have to use less filling in order to ship.

Bothersome smell, all around my bedroom, wt windows open, after a few days, in a duvet, I smell while I lay on my pillow, lost the cozy/peaceful feel in my bedroom.

We had purchased a similar(same?) product 3+/- yrs earlier and loved it. %100 cotton, yay! But, this time around there is indeed a wierd ridge in the middle that won't go away. This one is slighly shorter in length alhhough it is considered the same size.We paid a bit more and got much less. 3 stars at best. We wont buy a third one.

It's a really nice, inexpensive futon mattress. It looks sharp. It's not super comfy to sleep on.... I wouldn't want to sleep on it on a regular basis, but it's perfect for when the grandkids come over. It did initially smell, like perhaps the fabric was treated with something, so it's best to let it air out for awhile before sleeping on it.
