Locking system for car covers
I like the fact of being able to secure covers for my vehicles. In most cases the cable and Master Lock works well. Even in very high winds, the cover may blow off, but the cable and lock keeps my car covers from blowing away. However when that happens I was afraid the lock, being so small would damage my cars but in the few times it happened the lock was being on the bottom was caught under the car. The clear plastic surrounding the label is good protection for the cars surrface

Works great, love it. The lock ferrule end just barely fits through my car cover grommet, but it does and it is good!

Perfect fit for a Tesla model 3 cover
This is a simple way to deter car-cover thieves, who just want a quick "grab-N-go". But for those motivated thieves who really want your cover, this is certainly too weak and easy to cut though.Otherwise, the cable is long enough to go under my Tesla model 3, and secure its cover nicely using the provided padlock. Since the car sits on the street, and that cover cost around $300, I rather give some potential thieve some work to do if they want to steal it, versus just leaving the cover on the car without a locking mechanism of some sort.

Simply amazing and worth it!
Amazing! I was hesitant about it but I kill THREE birds one stone!1- helps to prevent the car cover to get stolen (my cover is expensive because my oldie is worth it $190).2- helps to hold the cover from the wind.3- and even helps to protect the car for being stolen because to get rid of the car cover and the lock they have to go all the way down to the car!A mean it is worth the cost plus arrive fast!I certainly recommended!

Nice cable lock, but....
This is a nice, thick cable compared to what came with my mom's car cover (generic sedan cover). Only problem is the end that is supposed to go through the grommet on the cover is way to big. This lock would not fit many universal car covers due to this. While this is an issue with the cover manufacturer as the grommets are way to small, thus you get a very thin cable with it, Master Lock needs to make a more universal size for the car covers that are on the market. For that reason I took 2 stars off, because now I have to take the time to return a non-universal item. Should not be advertised as being suitable for a car cover. Would have been better to advertise it as a generic cable lock.
