Buying a wood "planter" or "pot" for the yard is always a gamble. On first appearance the look and feel of these wood barrel planters I really do like them. The longevity is very important so I would give these a five star rating if these last a few years down the road with reasonable care and maintenance! Great planters

These two wooden pots are well built and have drain holes in the bottom.

They have a stained smell to them. I almost returned them because they were very small and didn't seem great for planting, but I kept them. I wish I returned them or used them for something other that plants.

I would suggest getting a little liner for bottom before supplying dirt. Drain hole is larger than expected, dirt escapes.

Beautiful planters! Placed them under my mums for a final touch to my fall porch decorations. One of them arrived cracked and the company was quick to replace. I would recommend this product.

Shopped for a while and could not find what I wanted - very happy to have found these. I needed wooden pots to be the home of some Japanese maples for 3 years or so. Well built and not at all flimsy. Good price compared to alternatives.

Very pleased with these planter - they were a lovely compliment to our clawfoot fountain! Wish there were more sizes.
