Fantastic nursery plant!
If you are looking for healthy mail order mondo grass, Oy Vey’s 18pk is the way to go. I have ordered from the, twice— each a year apart— and both times my order came in a timely, well-packaged manner with healthy plants ready to go. I have been very impressed with them, and most of the plants have a very good survival rate one year in (I only had to replace one or two that did not make it theough an unusually cool winter).Mondo grass is great as a low maintenance border or groundcover, and theyy occasionally sprout thin stocks with blue flowers, for a bit of added color. I generally let nature take care of the watering for these, although in the Southeast, I do water weekly in our hot, humid summers if it hasn’t rained for some time.
