The Max weight is about 600 lbs if set up correctly to a firm door frame，Depends on how strong the Installation location.there are anti-skid devices on both sides. When you apply a heavier force, it will not slide but be more stable.Concrete walls are stronger than the door frames if you have.

Q: How to install the pull up bar?

The bar is held in place by tension. Once you decide at what height to place the bar in your doorway, twist the bar to tighten the bar against the inside of your doorframe. When tightened sufficiently, the bar locks into place. Not difficult at all and so far no damage to our wooden door frame.

Q: Can a child use this as well? I have a 5yo who loves monkey bars.

Yes. I load it with 55kg weighted on top of my own weight (80kg) and it handles if fine. A child will be no issue.
