Great EDC for any budget.
Tenacious Delivered. This knife is fantastic, while it's not a Spyerco made in USA, its standards are stil next level. High edge retention means leas sharpening time. Opening is a snap. Lightweight makes for the perfect EDC knife. Fantastic grip for all conditions. Picture is after several months of daily use, in trade work. Cutting boxes, wire sheathing, as well as smaller gauge stranded wires. Highly recommend base on price vs performance.

I have many knives and some very pricey, but I always keep coming back to my Tenacious...
I have many knives (500 or more), and some are very pricey, but the thing is I always keep coming back to my Spyderco Tenacious. What does that say about my collection, knives in general, and more importantly, the Spyderco Tenacious? We could philosophize about it, debate its relevance in the trendy knife world or on childish poser sites spending all their time talking about the safe queens like on Blade For..., but the thing that sticks out in my mind is the comfort level and reliability of this knife. This knife has incredible ergonomics, comes razor sharp, and is just a joy to use. In my opinion, both the handle and the blade are harmonious with one another and perfectly balanced. It's not too light, not too small, not too big, and not too heavy, and it's just downright perfect for getting things done. The versatility of this knife and durability is second to none. I used to think why is the price going up on the cheap line of Spydercos made in China, but with inflation and everything, you're still getting a lot of knife with your purchase here. Gone are the days when you could bag this bad boy for $37.00, but it's still worth it and more at the current price.Frankly, I couldn't care less where this knife was made, because they hit the ball out of the ballpark with this one. This is a timeless classic and a very underappreciated EDC knife that can meet the grade for just about any task you could fathom with a folding knife. I always a hard time saying this about my Spyderco Tenacious for one reason or another, but after all these years as my faithful and loyal companion, I can say it now: I love you man!

Excellent knife for China blade.
I have several pocket knives. I prefer full tung straight blades... but they're not always acceptable some places. I have an amazing collection of Damascus steel blades, straight and folding... but they're for display/show. I'm not carrying a $200-$500 knife in my pocket. In the service, I finally settled on a Benchmade, which was half serrated. Loved that knife. It was made of Japan ATS-34 steel and held an edge like no other knife.I thought it had been stolen... so last week, I decided to replace it. I ordered the SpyderCo Police model. (Funny thing... I found the Benchmade the day after I ordered. But I'm cool with it. The SpyderCo found a home on my bellyband holster).Looking around I saw the Tenacious. Looked a lot like my Benchmade. Though a straight blade... and the price was spectacular! It was in my cart immediately. I got it the other day. Like my Police model... 2 days later (I'm a night shopper).Dang, these knives are sharp. It'll be in my pocket when one of the others isn't (oh I forgot to mention the other Tenacious half serrated I ordered tonight). My only ding on these, is the close mechanism. Unlike the Benchmade and the Police model that have a push release on the back of the handle... these have a push to the side on the front, next to the blade. I get nervous when my thumb is that close to the blade. But closing any foldng knife... you gotta pay attention. So I won't take points off for that. It's just different.

Bigger than expected
This is a big knife. Bigger than what I thought it would be. But still manageable to daily carry. It also came razor sharp out of the box.The only complaint I have is that opening it one handed can be kind of tricky.I noticed my thumb sliding onto the sharp edge as I opened it. It’s definitely possible to avoid it by training yourself to only flick it with your thumb to a certain point though.Over all functions as advertised and not a bad price.

Exactly what I ordered, almost.
The knife is almost exactly what I ordered. First, the good points. It came well packaged and arrived in 24 hours even though I ordered it through the Prime shipping. Very Awesome! The knife was brand new and in perfect shape. Good, solid pocket clip that doesn't feel like it is going to bend or break like some other knifes I have owned (Kershaw, I'm talking about you). The grip is good. It stays in your pocket without issue. The grip isn't too rough, either (Again, Kershaw, I'm talking about you).Since I am right handed, I have no need to fight with the impossibly small screws to change it. Fits my hand perfectly. The Spyderco opening hole will take some getting used to, but no biggie, just got to get used to it. It looks awesome. Looks are where it shines. Can't go wrong in that area. Perfect size for any kind of job, too. I have owned several combo knifes (plain and serrated) and I like the plain blade much better. The ONLY issue is that it did not come to me quite as sharp as I have read some did. To read some other reviews, I was expecting a knife sharp enough to cut a finger off in one swipe. Not even close. I did have to run it across my sharpener a lot to get it where I wanted it. It wasn't dull by any means, just not all that impressively sharp, either. The blade was in perfect shape, however.Overall, if you are looking for a top quality knife that looks great, functions flawlessly, and you don't have to spend an arm and a leg for, buy this one. You won't regret it. Just have a sharpener handy.

Worth every penny and then some
This is a darn good little knife! I saw the good reviews, but had never owned this brand so I was a little skeptical at the price. But, I now use it as my EDC knife and it sharpens easy and keeps an edge for a really long time. It's not fancy, but man is it good. Worth every penny.
