Jessica Wellness – Stevia Natural Sweetener and Sugar Substitute, No-Calorie Green Stevia Powder, Gluten-and-Gmo-Free, 2.8 oz

I had been using Mayan Sweet Stevia for a couple years, and loved it. But, when it went out of stock for an extended period, I was seeking a new brand. After trying a couple bands that failed miserably compared to Mayan, I came across this product, and am happy to say it tastes just as good as the Mayan! Plus, when I purchased it, there was a coupon available that made the price per ounce less than Mayan! I thought that I had my new brand. The only downside is that the packaging isn't nearly as convenient as the Mayan, as the Mayan came in a screw top glass jaw. Not a big deal, though, as I ended up just dumping the Jessica Wellness Stevia into the Mayan jar! But, like most green Stevia, it will have a more 'earthy' flavor, and it will not fully dissolve, since you are getting the whole leaf, and not just an extract of Stevia combined with a filler. Hence, this will be much more healthy for you than those other 'white' Stevias. I have noticed, however, that the coupon is no longer available for this product at the time of this writing, which puts the price per ounce back above the Mayan. That, combined with the better packaging of that product, will make be likely return to the Mayan if it is back in stock.

This is the whole leaf of the stevia plant that has been dried and ground. It's green and not a dissolving powder. I have grown stevia before and this is as close as it gets to the fresh plant. To me it is much better than the processed white stevia powders.

Taste is a bit earthy since this is green stevia. It’s not as sweet as the stevia that I previously used, and it doesn’t dissolve well, so I doubt that I will buy it again.

I started using stevia years ago but wanted a more natural version. This really worked. I use it in coffee primarily. Tastes great!!!
