I've done some projects by using the pipe purchased from big box stores. Now that I've discovered the Amazon supply, I will never go back. This stiff is WAY cheaper than what you will get locally. Now, to be fair, the stuff in the stores is meant to be used as designed, for plumbing. Once you break way from that need, the cost to manufacture and produce these items goes WAY down, which equals a much lower price point for the end user. I started with one main project, but since have branched to several different DIY projects and this stuff works great. I used 1" pipe to make a handrail for the stairs, 1" pipe for my gym and hanging weights, 1/2" for shelves and miscellaneous pieces, and have some upcoming plans using 3/4". Its easy to work with and looks awesome when painted (I've been using flat black on most of my projects).

No, these aren’t rated for plumbing jobs, but they work just fine for shelving with an industrial look. They arrived carefully packaged so there was no way the pieces could get scratched. The pieces were nice and clean with a consistent finish. All threading was smooth and straight when I joined the pipe to the elbows, Ts, and flanges. And they cost significantly less than if I were to purchase in a hardware store. Significantly. Less.

I ended up returning these because I was concerned about the strength. These are great for book shelves, plant holders and room decor, but I intended on using them to make stair railing. When I tested them, they worked great, but I was concerned about the ability to handle 250 lbs of weight.

Far more economical than the local hardware store, for the price of 3 flanges from the hardware store you have basically paid for this entire 30 pack set which is honestly insane! The quality seems completely fine, the ones in the hardware store seem to be a bit heavier/bigger, but I have been wanting lighter so this works just fine. It's my second time buying this and it's absolutely worth it. Also you can use these for EMT conduit if you are using conduit in a structural sense indoors. I made a bookshelf using these!

This is the second time I have ordered this set of pipe fittings for the same type of project. They have a sturdy finish, and screw onto the pipes smoothly. The packaging and speed of delivery can't be beat. If I ever make another black pipe vanity base, I will order these a third time.

These are fantastic fittings.They are furniture quality but look like plumbing quality.The finish is excellent has a gray cast iron style finish.If I can find pipe with the same finish there will be no paint on my table legs. Absolutely a good find.If you're on the fence about this item go ahead and press send. You won't be disappointed.I would recommend and purchase this item again.

Best thing to like about these fittings is they actually are what is pictured. Had a bad experience with another vendor here on Amazon. That must use this company’s pictures but since something inferior. I should also mention the packaging is amazing. You would think they were shipping, gold coins, the way they are packaged individually in foam inside a cardboard box truly amazing.

I ordered 1" pipe and fittings. While they do thread with conventional 1" pipes, these fitting are very light duty. If you are looking for a robust look you might be disappointed. I doubt these have any pressure rating and are likely just for decorative use
