Couldn't put down
I loved Fiona. She is the one who speaks her mind. She is in the process of moving back to the Cove and planning another family wedding. Into all of this chaos come family friend Ben Campbell. Fiona has had a crush on him since she was a tween. When she buys her place, she heads to The Rusty Puffin to celebrate with Kerry. Only Kerry starts teasing her and Fiona lets her have it. In the process Ben hears how all this time the nickname has hurt her. Ben is horrified. He needs to make amends but he also needs to let her know that he wants her. The courtship is fun to read.

Refreshing!
I find I get tired of the fiction of women who lie to not only themselves but to their male counterparts about respect and love. It's ok to want to be independent, but please stop with the lying to everyone about being smarter and better than men. God gives us all strengths and weaknesses. Thank you Ms Kauffman for your ability to express the truth even in a very fictional story. Great read.

Snowflake Bay ( The Brides of Blueberry Cove Series Book 2)
Donna Kauffman writes a great book. There were lots of great characters in this second book I the ongoing series of Blueberry Cove. Ben and Fiona were the best. The plots written around them were great and sometimes comical . It was good to learn about Uncle Gus, who is another great character. Now sadly I need to be patient for the 3rd book in the series. Woes begone!

Fiona and Ben
This was a great story about two people who grew up knowing each other, both coming home for family reasons, and meeting up again. Both had complications in their lives but we're able to work through them.

Snowflake Bay
Donna 's character development is great. You feel as if you could recognize them if you were to pass them on the street. You don't want it to end, you just feel comfortable knowing them and wishing that they were your neighbors and family.

It's a sweet and tender story about seeing what is right in front you.
SNOWFLAKE BAY is the second book in the Brides of Blueberry Cove Series. It is closely related to Donna's other series the Bachelors of Blueberry Cove. Logan from PELICAN POINT is her older brother. This series is about 3 sisters. Snowflake Bay is Fiona's story. Fiona has moved back to Blueberry Cove as her Manhattan life was getting too much for her. She felt like she was losing herself there. So she heads home. To be with her family but also to help her sister, Hannah plan her wedding. What she didn't anticipate was that Ben had come home too.Fiona always had a crush on Ben Campbell. Since she was a kid. But all he ever saw her as is an annoying little sister to Logan. It takes visiting Eula's store for Ben to see her for who she is, a grown up woman, ready to be something more. If he wished to. This story is them taking the time to get to know each other as adults. They've known each other a long time, are quite familiar with each other, and come to realize that that is a good thing. There is some sexual content. It's not crudely done. It doesn't overpower the plot line. This is a easy, fun read. Definitely worth checking out!
