Great Set of Tire Chains
I purchased this set in case I needed to use it on our front-wheel drive car on our trip to Lake Tahoe. I used it when the weather turned and started to snow and rain with high winds. Chains provided traction and stability to the car. Love them! On several occasions, I accidentally drove above 30mph by no more than 2 miles several times, and when it came time for me to remove the chains, they were still in great condition. Chains were easy to remove. I had someone help me install the chains so I couldn't comment on the ease of installation, but based on YouTube videos I've seen for the install, it wasn't difficult.

Perfect for cars without much wheel well clearance
They do the job, they're light, they're low profile, easy to put on. Just used them! If you don't need heavy duty frequent use chains, and just need a set to keep in the trunk for when an inch or two of snow reeks havoc in areas not equipped for snow removal, these are perfect.

Easy to install
These were easy to install and worked well. Very reasonable price. Make sure that you get the end pieces secured in the little yellow tabs. Those are plastic so have some concerns on how they will hold up, but otherwise, happy. These were for a 2025 Tesla Model 3.

Better than expected
I’ve got a Mustang I park for the winter. I always wanted chains in case of an emergency and had to drive in the snow. I didn’t want to spend much so I got these. I was surprised by the quality of these. Very nice. I may never use them but I know I’ve got a good set in an emergency.

Life Saver! 🙏🏼
Perfect fit, adjustable. Theses were a life saver! Traveling with my husband for first time through the northern parts of the US during the winter season. We came upon bizarrely weather suddenly, my husband quickly pulled theses out. As he was installing them which was fairly easy, we noticed 2- 18 wheeler trucks installing similar chains to ours. I instantly felt better. Once we were able to start moving in the freeway, it was slow going but I felt comfortable driving slow and easy, because I felt the fraction of the chains and road! The manual does say not to go over a very speed, only at recommended speeds. Go by what it says! Once we were in the clear they came off easy! Best purchase I made all year!

CHAIN BROKE AFTER THE FIRST USE!!!
Yes, I went a little bit cheap on getting myself a set of chains for my trip to Big Bear Mountains (CA) that has just ended today. The chain seemed too good to be true. It was affordable compared to many other snow chains out there that costs $8-90 or even in mid $100's. The installation video also seemed fair enough for me to try on my own. Despite some negative comments I had read, I decided to give it a try.On the day of my trip up to the Big Bear Mountains (12/26/2019), we faced the following problems.1. The installation was not as easy as it was described. To be more accurate with my review, I drive a 5-series BMW which is a rear-wheel drive, so I had to place my chains in the rear wheels, which does not rotate left or right, unlike the front wheels. Even considering this added difficulty, the installation process not easy. the securing wires that go inside the car were extremely difficult to reach and hard to tighten.2. The yellow securing clip was not secure enough. It popped the wire out in the middle of the driving and ended up scratching my car because of hanging chain wire.3. The chain itself is not tight enough after securing it to the inner-most holding of the wire. The wheels kept sliding without a grip and the car would not move because the chain is not tight enough. I had to purchase an extra set of chain tighteners ON SPOT at the chain check-point for another $20 to actually get the car rolling. It was only after I put on the extra set of chain tighteners that the car started rolling.4. Last, but not least, this set of chains BROKE APART after the first use. This is the first and the last trip that this chain lasted. I had to replace the chains because it was broken during its use (note: I never touched the chains after installation until this point. Who does?). To think about the chain breaking after the first use raises concerns for its sturdiness and reliability. I feel like my money has been wasted on a poorly made product.

Great for staying legal
I got these solely to be legal when going through the mountains. I have a 2014 Ford Escape (Titanium with 18" wheels). This vehicle is more than capable of getting through these areas without tire chains, however, in California it is law that in some areas you must have tire chains (or it is like a $500 fine...). So I got these. They were cheap and fit my car. I was nervous at first since Ford explicitly says NO TIRE CHAINS on the 18 and 19" wheels. However, I do not think "My car manufacture said I couldn't" is a viable excuse for getting out of a ticket. These are cheap and fit my car. I put them on at home to make sure they fit and they went on easily fit snuggly (it took a few tries to get the connector in the right place to get both sides even (for me it was 4 notches, so I wrote that down on the instructions)). This way if I get to an area with a sign saying "TIRE CHAINS REQUIRED" I can put these on and be legal! If you are looking for super heavy duty tire chains these are not for you, but if you just want basic tire chains that do the job of giving a little extra traction and allowing you to drive in tire chain areas these are a great choice!!I am happy with these and highly recommend them for those wanting to take a weekend trip skiing and concerned about tire chain restrictions. My only complaint is that I wish the carrying case was a little bigger (although I am glad it came with one), but it takes a little effort to get the chains back in.

Inadequate grip for significant uphill grades.
I purchased the cables for my 2019 Toyota Rav4 with 2 wheel drive. While the cables are easy to install, and work well on small uphill roads, they do not provide sufficient grip for uphill grades found at many ski resorts, particularly in the mountain west. I had a great deal of difficulty getting up to our hotel when a snowstorm forced us off the highway at Mammoth Mountain. They also failed to provide sufficient grip going up to our timeshare at The Ridge Tahoe on the eastern side of Heavenly Mountain.
