This works great on both my super-automatic espresso machine and my burr grinder. Very effective!
WOW! These cleaners really work - I used them for both my super-automatic Saeco espresso machine with a built-in burr grinder, and I used them with my coffee machine burr grinder. It doesn't take much to clean it out, either - I only used about 2 tablespoons of the cleaning tablets for each machine, and it really cleared out all the old oil and bean residue. After cleaning with the tablets, I definitely had to brush away a lot of the left-over dust, and then I ground through about 1/2 cup of regular coffee beans before they were ready to go. I'll definitely continue using these on my burr grinders - really happy with how it works!

The Stuff Worked
I do a good job taking care of my espresso machine but not so good a job taking care of my grinder. This stuff worked great. Simply and easy, it just worked. I did lose some coffee because the cleaner residue came out with the first few tablespoons of grinds after cleaning. Small price to pay for such an easy cleaning process.

Cleans the grinder well for better tasting coffee.
I will admit I haven't used any other grinder cleaner tabs, but these work well, especially if you haven't cleaned in a while (you know who you are). I use them in a Gaggia burr grinder. I have not used them in a 'spice and coffee' metal blade type of grinder. If you're buying these tabs, you're probably using a burr grinder as well, and these can make a nice taste difference by absorbing all that old oil and whatnot. The yellow 'dust' from the tabs gets a little messy, but I haven't noticed it making the coffee taste bad. The opposite is true: the coffee always tastes better after a cleaning. But I do sometimes keep some lower quality beans around to run the tabs through to get rid of the 'dust'.

Excellent Product
Our Breville burr grinder worked great for several months but then started taking longer and longer to grind the coffee. Eventually, after about a year it would pretty much not grind at all. After shopping for new coffee grinders and seeing high prices with mixed reviews we decided to give this cleaning product a try. We ran it through first on coarse, secondly on medium, and thirdly on fine. Blammo! It now works almost as good as it did brand new.Highly recommend this product.

This is a great way to clean your grinder with more natural ingredients
This is a great way to clean your grinder with more natural ingredients. From what I understand this is "food based" and it absorbs any remaining old coffee oils. Although I can't see the exact ingredients, from it's appearance it has a yellowy color that reminds me of corn. After I used the tablets, the instructions indicate to run a couple of cycles of coffee to clean out the grinder cleaner. I got a little impatient and didn't fully flush out the Full Circle Cleaner and pulled a shot. My resulting cup had a slightly corny flavor!!! Next time, I'll flush out the grinder with a little more coffee. :) You can definitely tell when there is still cleaner left over since the yellow cleaner is visible in your coffee grinds.

It works
It does what is required of it. The issue is that this stuff is still overpriced. I wish there were more competing brands of coffee grinder cleaner out there. The second issue is due to the fact that the bottle is not full of the product this results in some wasted product during shipment. By this I mean that the battering of the shipment process and the free space inside the bottle allow the 'pills' of product to fly about and you end up with some product that has turned to powder that will not clean your grinder.

Indispensible!
If you have a burr coffee grinder, you know that you must keep it clean -- up to a point -- to get the best coffee and to get a reasonable service life from the grinder. The "up to a point" part is important: Much of the grinder cannot be cleaned by washing, and the rest probably should not see soap and water, unless you love rust. Waddayagonnado? Enter Full Circle Coffee Grinder Cleaner: It does what it should do, as much as it should do it, and does so with sustainable, renewable, non-toxic "beans". Grind the "beans" just as you would grind your coffee (see [...] ), discard/recycle the grinds, and the job is done.

Which is it?
On the bottle (which you have to PEEL THE LABEL BACK TO SEE THE INSTRUCTIONS), it says to just run “a capful of beans” through, twice . . (which is in-line with the “handful of beans” statement another reviewer said). Yet on the similar product “Urnex Full Circle Coffee Grinder Cleaning Tablets” that come in the little packets, instructions say to run “70 g” of beans through afterwards. I weighed out “70 grams” of beans and it’s a LOT more than “a couple of capfuls” / “a handful of beans” . . like it’s about a THIRD OF A BAG!! Are the two seemingly-identical products THAT different? Or am I just seeing a gigantic discrepancy that’s been overlooked in the instructions? Was that supposed to say “7 g” verses “70 g” on the packets instructions?Or does that mean if I use the “Urnex Full Circle Coffee Grinder Cleaning Tablets” in the packets, I have to use 70g / a third of a BAG of coffee afterwards, yet when I use this similar *bulk* product (no packets), I only have to use “a handful” or “a couple of capfuls”? Makes no sense . . HUGE discrepancy in usage instructions . .

Does provide some value
I was skeptical as to whether this was worth getting but I was actually pleased with the results. I actually did notice some coffee grind come out with the cleaner powder and looking inside the grinder it did seem to have less coffee debris. I did as they suggested and ran a couple of spoons of beans through after the tablets just to clear any excess left behind. Just used some cheaper coffee I was ok with tossing out. Personally I can see myself using it every few months or so. No real need to do it more frequently than that in my opinion. I've been using my grinder for about 2 years without cleaning it as they really shouldn't need it other than tapping out grind once a week. Its not like a ton of excess grind came out after 2 years with this but I think it got some out that was stuck in some trickier parts.

Worked great as far as I can tell
Worked great as far as I can tell. Used it on my Breville BESXL combo machine and it was fine. Used a fine pastry brush to clean the grinder first (removed the inner assembly to do so). Then used the grinder cleaner (rice shaped grains) to clean off any residual grains/oils (thought there would have been more oily residue as I had never cleaned the machine -- however the beans I have been using must not be very oilly - Lavazza Gran Crema). Dusted assembly off again after using the grinder cleaner, and needed to run through only a handful of espresso beans to eliminate any remaining dust from the cleaner.Would recommend as a regular maintenance cleaner to keep your grinder running well.

Does the job
These things clean my burr grinder pretty darn well. They leave it completely free of oils. Depending on how long you go between cleaning, you’ll probably still have to scrape some build up away. Worth the money.

Works but wouldn't buy it again.
Bought these to use in our Baratza Sette 270W. They will help clean the direct bean path but I wouldn't buy them again. You still have to remove the grinding head to remove the other bits of coffee that are not in the direct grinding path. Because you have to remove the head anyway, it's just as easy and takes no more time that cleaning it by hand.
