| Olive Oil Moisturizing Bath Soap Bar | Always Palm Oil-Free | 5 oz - Green Tea

First, i did not receive the product listed here that I had ordered. Instead, I received the shea butter African Black soap. Same company and type of product but definitely not the olive oil lavender scent I had ordered. Even so, this soap was a pleasant surprise as it is made with quality ingredients, smells really good (it says it is scented with natural fragrance) and felt silky to use. It foams well and is moisturizing. The price point (almost $9 for one bar) is high but so is the quality.

Upon opening the wrapping, the scent of lemon and time is so invigorating and strong, that it makes my bathroom have a scent to it when you walk in.The soap itself is quite large, and seems it will last a long time. Upon using the soap, there’s a wonderful leather, and it makes your skin feel very clean, soft, and smelling amazing!

This Peet Bros soap is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and artificial fragrances. It is very moisturzing and has a light scent. Makes a good soapy lather and is not irritating to the skin, very calming, and cleansing.

It “melts” quickly. Keep the bar dry. It is a silky soap, and the smell is not overwhelming. Leaves skin soft. Not sure if it is worth $9 per bar, given that the composition is such that the wet bar of soap turns to goo.

Large bar of soap almost hard to hold. It does contain glycerin so it leaves a little dryness on the skin. Leaves no residue and you feel clean and smell fresh. My only negatives are I wish my skin didn’t feel weird with glycerin and the bar was more tall than wide to be easier to hold and grab.

It gets too mushy when it comes into contact with water and doesn't seem to air dry quickly. When I tried washing my face and scalp with it, it caused a rash and made my skin feel like it burns (had to take an antihistamine to cope with it). Another thing I want to note is that when I washed my hands with it my hands would feel really tingly/ itchy (with numbness that comes and goes). After using it I cannot recommend it to anyone with eczema or coconut/palm allergies (I think there may have been a cross c•ntam¡nati•n at the factory with an ingredient derived from coconut?). 🥥❔My skin is quite allergy prone/incredibly sensitive so I'm not surprised that this soap bar turned out to not be compatible with my skin. Also, another thing I want to point out about this soap bar is that even though it's sold as new for some reason it smells really weird (kinda like mildew) and I don't like how it stubbornly sticks to my hands when it gets too mushy/sticky and how it seems to get congealed by water. When it gets to that state of consistency it's incredibly difficult to wash off... Overall, there's a lot of things that I didn't like about this soap and I don't plan on using it ever again or repurchasing it either. ( ꒦ິ ꒳ ꒦ີ )っ🧼🗑️💸

An excellent gentle but cleansing soap. No offending fragrances; no harsh chemical reactions; no infections or irritations after use.

I love the way the Peet Bro’s, Palm Oil-Free Olive Oil Bar Soap made my skin feel. It is so soft after using this which was a big surprise from a bar soap. I also loved the lavender scent, it wasn’t overpowering but was a subtle scent. I would recommend this product to others.
