Perfect fit for 2006 BMW 325i
After 1 month of used, I am very satisfied with the cranking performance of this starter, no problem whatsoever. The installation is not as simple because it is located underneath the intake manifold. You have to remove a bunch of intake stuff to get to it but not impossible. Just need patient and good attitude, it can be done. I would recommend you also replace the upper and lower PCV hose because removing the intake manifold will likely crack or damage those hoses. The PCV hoses are not expensive. Overall I am glad I took on the effort, easily save me $1000 considering I also replace the PCV hoses. Most satisfying of all, I know the job is done right.Sept 26th 2024. FYI, it is exactly 1 year after I replaced the starter. So far, I have not had any issue whatsoever with the car starting. I am glad I bought this brand.

quality starter works great!
my 2011 328i suddenly would not start and I knew the starter had failed. I took a chance with this brand and it seems very good. This starter looks well made and fit perfectly. The install was a pain but I got it done in about 4 hours. The car fired right up so I am happy!

If your E92 335I Is not starting.. READ THIS
First of all, the starter works fine, arrived fast, etc. I just want to leave a message here for anyone who has a BMW 335i that won't start even with lights in your dashboard coming on ( I assumed it was the starter) Well, it wasn't. I changed this starter and the car wouldn't turn on. It turns out it was a corroded ground strap underneath the driver's side (Going from body of car to the engine). It literally broke off by touching it. Make sure you check that strap, before you go buying parts (Although my starter probably needed to be replaced anyway, so I'm not mad I changed it) Hope this helps someone, I wish I would have checked that first. It's crazy how bad grounding can cause your engine not to turn at all, even with jumper cables.

Very good.
Works well even after a year. Good alternative to the Valeo brand for a lot less.

Starter motor looking pretty decent. Perfectly fitting an X3/xdrive 30i/E83/2009
Starter motor looking pretty decent. Perfectly fitting an X3/xdrive 30i/E83/2009, No complaints so far after three weeks of starting. Price is unbeatable. No long term experience though. Not sure why I should pay hundreds of dollars for a Bosch starter... Installation only for people who know what they're doing, pretty tricky. Youtube helps somehow.Update January 2018: Car doesn't start anymore, got stuck several times, my mechanic says it's the starter. So this was a real bummer, all the work for nothing! Maybe wiser to go with a decent brand... I've got a refund from Amazon but have double the work anyways. That sucks.New update March 2018: The mechanic was wrong. After changing several other things it turned out to be a faulty battery (Bosch), that was replaced a few months before the starting problems began. The good thing was it still had warranty, the bad thing that I had to pay a lot of money before finding the real problem.
